Worst Iron Banner ever.
Nothing but shotguns. Can use a damn weapon other then a shotgun. Horrible horrible Iron Banner. Not fun at all. Plz for the love of god never make it supremacy ever again

Bump I'm sick of getting drops lower than my light level 😡 it's so stupid and I'm done with iron banner. I'm also real close to never playing crucible again until bungie fixes the error codes and the unbalancing of the crucible, this shit has to stop now it's getting old and pathetic

The rewards for the amount of time spent getting shotgunned to death all week are a disgrace. Played over 100 games not seen a legendary ghost shell. Used to get guaranteed item at levels 3 and 5. It takes longer to get from 4 to 5 than upto 4 with the bounties. I work during the week and only got one character to 5 where i used to be able to do all 3. The game has become elitest and doesnt reward the hours put in by the non raiding players.

2 RepliesShotguns are not the problem. The game mechanic forces CQC. Shotguns are the best CQC weapons, so that's what you are seeing. Even at that, it takes play adjustment. I saw a team hang a sniper back to thin the herd a bit around crests. They even left some crests out there as bait and lured people in. Smart use of sniper. Jade Rabbit would be great here too, and wouldn't have the ammo penalty. At any rate, this too will pass. Regular ol' Crucible will see its normal distribution of weapons, and the world will return to normal. Trials? Don't care. That's for the top 5% of players and frankly I don't want to see the game bent around their whims.

1 ReplyThe weekly bounties and reaching max level were way too easy but the mode is horrendous. I've hated every minute of this Banner. Being pounded into the dirt by fireteams is not fun and as a solo player I reached a point where I didn't want to play anymore. Usually I take all three characters to max light and after that grind out the higher light drops. Not this month. I hope the developers see the comments of the players and restore the bounties and progression mechanics of the previous banners and forever dump Supremacy as an IB mode. Supremacy is a fun mode for one off matches just like mayhem but over a weekly event like Iron Banner it is a painful experience. Bungie has a tendency too ignore the community so I don't expect anything to change but I hope that with a different game mode it will be a bit better.

2 RepliesDon't get me wrong, supremacy is a decent game mode. But please never ever ever ever ever bring it back for iron banner. It's not fun when you can do much better with a shot gun then anything else. This is supposed to be a competitive multi-player event, keep it competitive with clash and control game modes ONLY.

20 RepliesHonestly it was nothing but Shotguns, Mida's, and Outbreak Prime. Outbreak Prime needs to be nerfed for PvP, because there should be no reason a gun that powerful should be allowed where it can 1 shot multiple opponents in quick succession. Its just as bad as Thorn use to be, before it was nerfed. Let's also not forget all of the Huntards with either tether or blade dancing too, or perhaps all of the Titans whose Shoulder Charge and Hammer of Sol is so OP that it can 1 shot anyone and replenish their shield at the same time. PvP is very unbalance, and it needs a serious rebalance. I've been proposing ever since the game released that they separate PvP and PvE when it comes to weapon balance changes, because too many times the nerfs they do to try and "fix" PvP break PvE even more, and make a lot of guns useless, or too OP. Just my thoughts on things though as I'm sure others may see it differently.

As much as i hate shotguns, this was the most skill based iron banner ever. Because everyone had to use the same weapon type or go home.

The dominant weapon for supremacy is AUTO RIFLES. The dominant weapons in Destiny ATM are Scout Rifles 1st, Pulse Rifles 2nd, and Hand Cannons- followed by shotguns. Stop running into shotgun warriors. Use your map- there's actually an artifact now that acts as knucklehead radar. GET IT.

Yes it was. Glad I'm done with it. I don't think I'll ever play another supremacy match. EVER!!!!!!! One out of eight games was playable. Nerf Shotguns and buff Primaries!!!!!!

This game is wack when it comes to hits and damage, get over it. Shotguns close range are supposed to be devastating. I'm more pissed about the shitty drops and rewards.

While shotgun bastards do annoy me, as long as they don't blink into existence to kill me, (I titan did this regularly in one match today,) I don't mind that much. People being assholes with special weapons is tolerable. People being assholes with lag is not. Supremacy seems to have driven away many of the laggers, so I'm happy. Also, I'll take shotgun bastards over sniper SoBs any day.

1 ReplyI honestly love it. Been pulling 2+ KD's almost every match. If you know what you're doing, prioritizing crests and following friendly supers, you're guaranteed to do well.
