Do you kill players on the other team who are clearly AFK?
I always do this, and I always feel like a bit of an asshole. But I'm competitive as hell so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Curious who else is the same.

I look in my radar, all clear. I approach carefully, you never know how prey might react. It doesn't move, so I stand in front of it. Should I snipe? Or maybe just a knife in the head? Shoulder charge? Pop a bubble and leave? ...

1 ReplyYes and if they're on my team operation glacial meatshield. Push them into the combat zone and use them as a decoy. If they die I'll check for them next time I spawn. But I always make sure to empty a clip into their heads and punch them ten to fifteen times first, just to make sure they're actually afk. If they start moving I wait to see if they run to combat or try to move out of my way. If the latter continue operation are you dead yet check. If the former I follow them and try to headshot steal their kills or get assists.

Why should you feel like an asshole because some other asshole didn't have the decency to leave a game instead of going afk? I know shit happens in life, but if you're afk for a whole 10 minute match I don't feel bad for getting 10 free kills.

Every time I'm in the menu or afk, I get nailed. I don't cut slack any more.

Yes I do but they are not always just afk, Some gets still like that because they have used there lag switch to much, they deserve to be killed. if you're playing a game and then get up and walk away, its your own damn fault you get killed in a game

Definitely. I like to creep in real close, like face to face, before I do it though. Using grenades, melees, or shotguns are the funniest methods.

My thoughts on the Crucible. It means only one thing, and everything: cut. Once committed to fight, cut. Everything else is secondary. Cut. That is your duty, your purpose, your hunger. There is no rule more important, no commitment that overrides that one. Cut. The lines are a portrayal of the dance. Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible. Cut with certainty. Cut decisively, resolutely. Cut into his strength. Flow through the gaps in his guard. Cut him. Cut him down utterly. Don't allow him a breath. Crush Him. Cut him without mercy to the depths of his spirit. From the Sword of Truth series about a War Wizards Prumary Edict, but I think it applies.

I use them to work on bounties for specific kills or specific weapon kills

Here's the real question: Does anyone else know how to manipulate the spawn system to force them to spawn close enough for you to kill them repeatedly?

I sit in front of them and defend them. They usually kill me when they get back (even though it's obvious I'm no threat), but it's worth it for the ones that just wave and run off.

It's dumb not to haha. Someone else will have no problem killing them so why not do it yourself and get the points? Also them being AFK isn't my problem or ordeal. I'm there to kill and win in the crucible. It's a clash of teams or people with the intention to kill one another. At minimum and at most. You want to disappear and leave yourself open to being attacked or killed? Cool.
