Just played the Division beta. It's official, Destiny is finally dead.
The division is everything good about destiny with none of the bad.
If bungie doesn't go out of business from this destiny content fiasco, even tho destiny's 10 year plan will be scrapped, I hope they don't half ass their next IP

I love it, it's real bad ass, finally I can choose what my perks my weapon has, and the dark zone is so tense. But to all you oddballs out there who only ever choose to play one game in their life, I will pop pack to destiny once in a while.

2 RepliesI played it too. Very slow pace and hiding behind cover is your best friend. Plus being 3rd person only serves a very small community of players. For shooters first person is the way to go.

It's dead to certain people I don't like playing destiny because it's the same thing everyday every week spammed adds, below average loot, and has very little match making. Lag is out of control, get kicked for everything, no content at all. Just runs dry. I moved on personally I only log on to help friends and see what's coming next. Other than that I'm not on destiny like I use to be.

1 ReplyThe division is an acquired liking of the game, if you aren't playing with friends then you're doing it wrong. If you're watching someone play it rather then sign up for the beta then you're doing it wrong. It's a beta people calm yourselves this only a fraction of the game and a majority of the pvp area is locked so that's why it's not that exciting. Nothing will kill destiny except for time.

6 RepliesThe Division is NOTHING like Destiny. The division isn't even good. We don't even know if there is end game content. It will be a flash in the pan, and then will be soon forgotten about.

You probably said or thought the same thing about Destiny at first. I'm not saying The Division isn't going to be better, which btw I hate you for being able to play it; I have to wait until 4am! But it hasn't been out as long as Destiny has so it's hard to the compare the two experiences so soon.

Its just ok. The Division is definitely not that great. Its not bad but it's not a Destiny killer at all. I give it a 6 out of 10. Fun,but gets boring fast.

Am I the only one who remembers the super love and hype during and after the destiny beta? How everyone couldn't wait to play it and explore such a vast world of mystery and adventure? Good luck in the division. Doesn't look great at all. The only shooter that legit works in third person, is gears of war. Others may be fun, but not as smooth.

If destiny was dead, the forums wouldn't be full of people giving feedback on the current state if the game and getting so involved in issues.

I played the beta today and it was meh. I don't see what the hype is all about. It's a third person rpg in a modern setting. I feel like Fallout and the Witcher were better RPGs. Division isn't a FPS and you can't even switch like you can in Fallout. IDK about this one. It looked great at E3 but I'm cancelling my pre order.
