So what do you libbies have to say now? Whenever Id bring up that he would destroy the middle class all you guys would say was "No hes only taxing the wealthy". Well he just admitted on TV that he would be raising their taxes in atleast two facets one being healthcare.
If he admits to wanting to raise them "Slightly" in politician speak that means he is planning on raising them A LOT
TRUMP 2016
EDIT: You guys are saying ti will work based off of incorrect math. The math simply doesnt add up. Theres hundreds of billions unnaccounted for that will need to come from somewhere. Thet somewhere is inevitably going to be more taxes on the middle class to the point that nobody is saving all this magic money you are talking about

34 RepliesEdited by U6757109: 1/18/2016 3:51:22 PMWhat a moron. Sanders plans on raising taxes by 2.2% per person so that everyone will get equal healthcare. If you pay $500 for public healthcare versus paying $5000 for private healthcare, you will save $4500. https://berniesanders.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/friedman-memo-1.pdf Actually read the healthcare plan here: https://berniesanders.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Medicare-for-All.pdf If you're middle class, you will end up saving $5,000 per year.

Yet another misinformed Trump voter. The new taxes for healthcare were actually result in a net decrease in expenses for the middle class. Yes, that's right, the middle class will be saving money. This is because people won't be paying outrageous insurance premiums coupled with high deductibles and the fact that they do all they can to deny coverage. Please try to actually inform yourself before you attack an opposite policy. By the way, Trump hasn't released a plan yet, beyond "Making America great again." Will he do what he has promised to do for other issues, that is, to learn once he's in office.

2 RepliesTo those who say Bernie will improve the economy, he won't. Our economy is destabilized because all the major manufacturers who kept the economy afloat have either left the country or been bankrupted due to cheaper manufacturing from China. Taxing the upper class even more would just make more of them leave, destabilizing the economy even more. Regan had the right idea; he reduced taxes on the wealthy. Because he did, the wealthy had more money to spend on their businesses, which in turn opened more jobs for the middle and lower class. Like it or not, most jobs exists not because of he government, but because of the wealthy.

5 RepliesI don't think the middle class will remain the middle class if Bernie wins. His plans will effectively destroy it.

2 RepliesCan you lay out trumps policies in detail? I've yet to hear his actual plan for anything.

Edited by Racebum: 1/19/2016 9:21:37 PMWhen I look at how much I'm getting for that small tax increase. That's cheap. Bernie has a great idea. The average tax increase should be around 2%. At the same time look what happens to the price of my health care. It goes down. How about college? Even if you go to an in state school you're going to spend 25 - 30000. With Bernie that's going to go down one hell of a lot

Because you opened this. you will get kissed on Friday by the person you love or like. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Do not break this chain. You have 2 minutes this is not a fake...apparently. Forward this to 15 people in the next 15 minutes and you WILL have the best day of your life tomorrow. You're number one crush will either KISS, ask you out, or call you. If you break this chain, the little girl named Kaitlyn who died 2 years ago on a car crash will be in your room TONIGHT! Good luck <<3, and your time starts, right know No Cheatin.

1 Replypeople itt: Forgets that Eisenhower had a 90% tax rate all across the board If people at the time of Eisenhower can survive being taxed 90% of what they made, people in here shouldn't complain about a 9% increase.

People act like the economy will just magically be fixed without having some kind of effect on the people.

Yeah what happens when you tax the rich and give to the poor? The rich grab their shit and leave. History has proven time and again that communism is a decent idea on paper, but doesn't actually work.

1 ReplyI still enjoy how we can all agree on the fact that Shillary is the worst candidate and no one should elect her

I'm not sure you understand how government works.

Edited by Currrrtis Blow: 1/19/2016 7:58:21 AMBecause this is such a better idea. Keep voting against your own self-interest. I doubt you make over $500k/year, which is who would benefit the most from the dude-with-multiple-bankruptcies-to-his-name's tax plan. You want government services? Firefighters? Cops? Teachers? HEAP exemptions for your home heating bill? Paved roads? Snow plowing? You have to pay the tax man something. You Republican's don't get this shit. You just look at what comes out of your check and assume it all goes to "welfare queens." Look at what Scott Walker has done to Wisconsin's job growth and economy in the last 5 years to see a good example of current Republican economics.

Uhh, ok? I don't see any major issues here.

Edited by Trestero: 1/19/2016 6:43:39 AMI have to say you're an idiot trying to put a spin on things. This isn't "admitting" anything, Sanders has actually been pretty upfront with things like that even in debates where the other Democrats were throwing crazy promises left and right (I believe he went on to say after Clinton and whatshisname promised no tax hikes that the equivalent of a dollar a week from everyone would pay for maternity leave for everyone). If anything all this goes to show is just how little the average person understands about what he's trying to do. Whether that's due to the media favoring other candidates that make them more money or just ignorance is up for debate, I suppose.

1 ReplyIt's an increase in taxes for singlepayer healthcare. What you're missing is that while it does mean an increase in taxes, it also means you're still saving more money because that increase replaces the current more expensive premiums.

Vote for FDR

Where are the numbers that say it won't save money over current healthcare premiums? Cutting out the insurance company middle-men seems like it would save quite a bit of money to me, considering they are making profits.

I mean, if it pays for my healthcare...
