I will report you if you play crucible. You should pay for a better connection and connect using lab cables. You -blam!- the whole round up for others with your shitty connection and I'm tired of it. I hope bungie bans you from crucible. Every match has at least 2 if not more. -blam!- you guys.

3 RepliesEdited by Defiler of sylok: 11/20/2015 9:45:44 AMKinda tired of the whole "lan cable hype" bs I was in a raid yesterday with a guy who was hard wired and we were all yellow and red bar one of the guys was from the uk and even he was red/yellow bar the 3rd guy did a speed test and was getting 8mb upload and 500 kbs down...wait for it....HARD WIRED I did a speedtest and I had 100.11 Mbps upload and 45 Mbps download .... WIRELESS we left made me party leader came back and EVERYONE HAD GREEN BAR. except the uk guy he went from deep green to lime green a few times and the guy with the basic ass internet went from red to yellow It's not about whether it's wired or wireless no matter what people believe it all depends on your wifi hot spots and dead zones and any interference you may be encountering I will always be green bar and I have used hard wired for 5 months and seen no difference *pro tip* stay away from AT&T Internet and if your in a country that doesn't have high internet speeds I'm sorry if he reports you

Think of it this way. Actually laggy players aren't that problematic. You know why. Look at what happens when you try and fight a laggy player. That is also what happens on their screen. The difference? They have it that way for every. single. person. You only have to deal with it for 1 or 2 out of 6. The actually problematic people are the ones abusing methods to manipulate it in their favor.

4 RepliesI'm sorry I'm 13 and my parents don't understand anything about wifi or technology so they won't get better connection

Edited by Clay COCKWIDTH: 11/20/2015 5:00:46 PMI never see people red bar but i don't play a ton of pvp. Lately i've played a LOT. I did see it happen in one game yesterday and it was frustrating. I would land like 5 head shot bursts with red death and they would die 3 seconds later. Maybe i don't see it much cause i'm hosting? Is that how this works? I have very very good speeds and of course i hard wire the ps4, no wifi ever. I run 10ms, 131 down, 10 up any time of day no matter what, speed is like clockwork *Btw, the guy who started this post, justingiver? One of the coolest people i've met in destiny. Very patient and helpful. I know we all sound different over a mic and even act quite a bit different but this guy's a solid dude. Took me through my first raid ever where i died repeatedly and got fatebringer AND vex. Thanks again, Justin. Much appreciated

I wanted to say something, but in the end I just added another "dislike".

You're an stubid gtffo biatch!
-
Just leave when you see a brunch of red bars! Who give a -blam!- then!

2 RepliesI remember one kid lagging ridiculously, his response was " nah bro my wifi is the best"... I don't usually trust wifi, but then again it's only me using my internet. just use a lan cable...they come in pretty long sizes
-
1 ReplyIt does say on the game a minimum of 1mb is needed for playing. So if anyone gets banned for playing the game maybe bungie should make the requirements higher on the case of the game. I don't have a bad connection. Just saying.
-
2 RepliesStop, isn't this what Bungie where resolving in TTK? Latency based matchmaking. D'oh, we fell for another lie! I've monitored bandwidth usage during PvP and can conclude from the results most lag issues will be as a result of bad home network configurations, a few from rural weak services and then a few manipulations.
-
I have more lag with lan than with wifi which is surprising. In our connections it's destiny I don't hit lag in any other fps game
-
All your characters are bellow 1.0 kd...maybe it isn't people with bad Internet and it's just you complaining

"If you don't have enough money to get better Wifi then get off of Crucible"

Get over it man. Its always been a part of playing online video games, are you new? Not everyone has cable or fiber connections. People still use dsl and you get matched up with foreigners, again, get over it.

1 ReplyYou obviously aren't from Australia.
-
I agree.
-
Are you going to turn into shesmynerd and start reporting people for cheating if you die to a final round/LITC
-
1 ReplyThe strangest thing about Destiny is that in other games the person with the worst connection under performs, but here, the worst connection is usually in first or second place.
-
Good for you buddy. Of course, if their bad connection wasn't having an effect then your report was a waste of time. Some players can red bar with no detrimental effect on gameplay. Don't hate on the guy for reporting though. Hate on him for being such an angry person that this is something that works him up so much.

15 RepliesEdited by trapghost491: 11/20/2015 7:30:29 AMI'm reporting you for false reporting of people, everyone should do the same.
my Internet is good just can't stand people like this.
you need to think before you speak dude. its not about speed at all. im in uk i have 58mb but if i play with my american friends i have yellow bar because not of speed but......distance...

4 RepliesIt's Bungie's fault for not having dedicated servers.
