With the festival of the lost and being "suckered" into spending $40 bucks on it..
it makes me wonder, will people that support this type of business transactions be rewarded
with something more at a later date?
People I raid with say we'll get free dlc, for everyone.
Which is a great idea.
But I think the people supporting this should get something more out of it. Then everyone gets free dlc.
We should get an armor set or weapons pack that is actually useful at the highest level of light.
maybe even a side mission only silver buyers get.
I know you and I hate this idea. I hate the idea of spending even more money on the game for side stuff like emotes that surpass the cost of an actual game (I've blown $60 in the past week on emotes and F.O.T.L).
But if silver buyers are paying for your future dlc and side missions. They should stand out amongst other guardians and feel rewarded for it.
Also, blue skull needs stats. That helmet is the shit!!! I want to use it everyday.
So please, let us take it to 320 with 60 intellect and void benefits.
EDIT: To the idiots that think I am saying "pay to win".. No, I am not saying that. Listen, you can spend a million bucks on this game and there is players out there that will wreck you regardless of what you have.. its a bungie game.
All I am saying is, If we can buy these "packs" and they drop kickass legendary items in there... Like the kickass blue skull.. We should be able to ascend their light to the max light in the game, from using a raid helmet.. How does this break the game?
I am also saying, If people that are paying for your future festivities or if it becomes a free future dlc. The people that supported this idea. Should get an item or two that stands out. The stats and light level is no different then anyone else's. It can be ascended. The only thing different is looks (no different then a pre-order item).. Is it honestly going to hurt your feelings if I have a weapon you don't? or a piece of gear that has the same stats as yours, but it looks different?
that's all I am saying. I am not asking for god mode on all my gear cause I spent $5 or 1000.00. .
All of you should support the ascend idea.. Everyone of you got at least one legendary mask from the festival. This applies for your crybaby ass as well.
Edit 2: peoples tears are still flowing. Shut up already. We paid for items.. Items should be useful. Now watch this video and the guys excitement opening up the packs. He spent $75 for all these. He had fun doing it. Now let him and everyone else that done this, be able to use these masks (ascend the light).. let bungie community tears roll..

FOR GODS NUTS SACK BUNGIE JUST ADD VANITY SLOTS

3 RepliesThey said they were only going to sell cosmetic items with silver, nothing to affect gameplay. If they made stats on them, they would have just contradicted themselves just a couple months after saying that. So no, I don't think people who spent silver should get a special legendary item with stats. They knew what they were getting into when they bought it

1 ReplyLol your mom needs to hide her credit card
-
2 RepliesYour reward was a chance at a digital item. Deal with the fact your dumb and spent a ton of money on something you ended up hating.
-
2 RepliesWho are you calling crybabies? Seems to me you're the entitled whiner? Let's assume I pay more taxes than you. Do I deserve a special license plate or a pin that says so? Should I get cheaper fines or waived tickets cause I put in more? And let's deal with the assumptions. You're raid team peddles in gossip. Completely unsubstantiated dreaming that silver buyers will somehow fund free stuff is absurd. What you ARE doing is screwing upthe game and economy for the rest of us. In that respect, perhaps you DO deserve recognition. Can we tattoo DUNCE across your forehead.

1 ReplySurely the emotes/items you buy would count as those items to make you stand out? I had a few quid on my MS account so I bought silver to buy slow clap as I'm a sarcastic bastard and felt my raid teams required verbal and visual comfirmation of their stupidity. A friend swears he'll never buy silver and thus won't ever have slow clap. Another friend spent £20 on the festival and got the blue skull. I'm never going to get it because cosmetics like that hold little worth to me, thus, making him stand out as a supporter. So no, its fine as it is, you shouldn't be rewarded with more missions or content or items for buying cosmetics, because buying a hat and getting a new mission for your trouble is very much so the wrong direction for microtransactions.
-
You didn't have to spend money. So no if it had stats it would be one step closer to pay to win
-
2 Repliesso you WANT to make Destiny pay-to-win? Are you retarded or a troll? STFU and get out THIS is exactly the reason microtransactions should never have been introduced into Destiny. It starts with cosmetics, then you get what OP is talking about, and soon you have a complete pay-to-win system that undermines the entire game.
-
You're endorsing pay-to-win. Stfu
-
Nope. Suck it. You want to shell out extra money for worthless aesthetics, go for it. Enjoy the mask you won't be wearing outside of patrils and the tower, chumps.
-
Silver spending should not grant anything special I got what I need filling candy sacks too fast...

1 Reply"Suckered" nobody forced or tricked you. I don't care how people spend their money so this isn't a lecture but in life you make decisions and you live with them.

It's a transaction, you pay money they give you silver, no more than that should happen.

Do us all a favor and get off the forums. And never come back

He he he he he... No. Get off you high horse. There will not be any "free" DLC, that was never stated. Your funding these extra events like the festival is what you're doing. It's been said that Bungie will not sell items that can make a difference in their store, thus your argument holds no water. It's cosmetic.

Absolutely not. And yes, what you're proposing is pay to win
