Just like the Crota 'cheese' did? It's not removing them, they're still there. They are just being managed differently.
Like killing the yellow bar acolytes turns the others into mini ogres, killing them last isn't a cheese, it's managing the mechanics.

To skips one of the mechanics is a cheese I would say, or at least it's not legit if you prefer. I would patch it if I were Bungie. Ok it's not a very big cheese like unplugging the Ethernet cable or pushing Atheon, and finishing the fight in 2 minutes. But still. Now people will even forget that red Knights spawn to destroy the black balls and will forget about the yellow knight.

No. Standing on the platform was cheese. You have altered the mechanics. Most adds can't kill you, blue knight can't get to you, Crota can't shoot or slam you, therefore you have altered the mechanics of the whole fight. By your own definition, the end raid boss' mechanics are altered. It is cheese. Stop trying to say it isn't when your own definition says it is.

When there are a lot of comments it is hard to keep track of and quotes help tidy it up a bit.

You're right, it wasn't a cheese and neither is this. No one is forcing you to do it and it's not altering your experience any. But blocking those boomers and keeping a titan in a bubble to distract them is the same as managing when you kill the ogres. It's a viable strategy, but you don't have to do it. If you wanna do it long way round, then do that.

With this strategy lfg will be flooded with people only doing this, and anyone without a group will be forced to do it. It also isn't the same as managing when to kill the ogres because they should be killed immediately to prevent your team from dying on the plates.

They don't die, because they jump off and move. Cheese is a mild name for a cheat. Cheesiness and cheating essentially the same things. This is just another way to do it. If it gets patched then it wasn't meant to be done that way. If it doesn't then it's fine. It's pointless sweating it.

Second cheesing does not equal cheating. Cheesing is altering mechanics to make a fight easier. The only point I was originally making was that this is probably gonna be patched and seen as a cheese.
