Golden Gun Vs. Sun Breaker.
I main a GG Hunter and the only problem I have is the Sunbreaker's armor.
With the weapon and class changes that came out with TTK, they made a change that was needed, Striker titans could be shot out of their fist of panic with golden gun, IF and only if you had the reaction time to do so. This was a needed change as strikers that panic super would survive a golden gun shot with a sliver of health.
This change didn't take away fist of havoc's counter super ability, all you have to do is back off and wait for the other super to push you, then slam them into the dirt. thus not giving them time to kill you before the slam. Logic.
Now with Sunbreaker's added super armor, if you hit them with one shot from golden gun, they survive with a sliver of health. Sound familiar? It currently requires 2 shots from a golden gun to kill a supered sunbreaker, and this gives the titan just enough time to throw a hammer before the second GG shot hits, thus resulting in a kill trade. And before you say you can 2 shot them before they throw a hammer, yes, you can but only if said titan isn't watching their radar. which we all know most people watch their radar/motion tracker.
Now if trading kills with 2 GG shots for 1 titan Hammer sounds fair, that;s because it is, AT RANGE. While in close quarters, the hammer has no travel time, which means the titan can just spam a quick hammer for the kill, get health regen and keep on killing. If that sounds balanced to you, you're not seeing the big picture, a super vs. super kill trade is fair. A sunbreaker having an advantage in a super fight is clearly not.
And yes I know sunbreaker is built for the super, but they still have decent abilities, sticky grenades, melting point double melee will kill ANY non-supered class including a flame shield warlock which used to dominate the melee game. So don't tell me that the SB Titan isn't good without its super, that's a flimsy excuse, being good depends on player skill. There's nothing stopping a SB titan from being a great sniper except player skill.
All I'm saying is that GG should 1 shot a SB titan for a kill trade, that would be fair and balanced.

1 Reply2 golden gun shots is fair. Most of the time I don't see a golden gun and only react after they shoot me once. Therefore if it was a one shot kill, I'd never be able to trade kills with them. People need to stop complaining about this. Either pop golden gun when there isn't a sunbreaker or deal with it. You don't always need more than one kill with a super, look at almost all the other ones.

I threw an incendiary grenade at a Titan during his hammer of sol, he killed me, and in the kill cam i saw him standing on my grenade when it blew up...it didn't even take his shield down...THAT is the problem with HoS waaaaay to much armor

Honestly if you can't put two shots into them with golden gun before they can throw their hammer, it's your fault. Golden gun has more than a high enough fire rate to put two shots into them

4 RepliesSo if you can kill a sunbreaker in 1 shot , how can a sunbreaker kill you? Hunter got instant travel time with your gun so with your logic , 1 titan vs 1 hunter , like 50 feet away of each other the hunter will alway win... ? It perfect the way it is you can kill a titan easily with 2 shot and jump to avoid the hammer .

HoS has travel time. And is easy to dodge, golden gun (as long as its a competent player) will shoot you immediately. I think its fine, most the time if your team is shooting the sun-breaker it should be a one hit kill

Even as a Titan main, I feel it should one shot me. Every time I survive a golden gun, I sit down and let them finish me. Supers should be able to counter other supers.

4 RepliesGG could always 1 shot Fist of Havoc when the striker was not using the invincible perk. Now that the helmet that granted the perk for free is gone, of course you will notice more 1 shot GG on fist of Havoc. The freaking "entitled" idea that 1/3rd of a super should beat the 100% full use supers like nova bomb or fist of havoc shows why Hunters can never be taken seriously. Especially when it comes to discussion on Hammer of Sol

Coming from a Titan (mained him since beta) I believe GG should OHK a Titan unless he has an overshield. Gunslingers have 3 shots and we have multiple but ours isn't hitscan that's why we have multiple. Now when it comes down to Sunbreaker's being OP. They are not. I've killed plenty brethren *sheds a tear* with snipers and shotguns but one time I shot a Sunbreaker with a RL and he did not die, I believe it was lag.

Boost GG's damage seeing how it only two shots on titans with certain perks and builds

10 RepliesIf the sunbreaker takes any damage (which most of the time they do), a GG shot will OHK a sunbreaker. You whiners are so stupid. A sunbreaker's super is the only thing the subclass has. Every perk is built around the super. Other than that, the subclass is decent at best.

I myself main Hunter and I think it would be way too easy to just shut one won with one shot. At least the hammers have travel time. They should just up the rate of fire that you can shoot GG at. Cause imagine how frustrating it would be to be a Titan and get killed with one GG shot. Oh wait that's right GG already one shots every other super than an active (super bar depletes over time while in use). Honestly though at this state they can't really find a 50/50 balance between the two because one shot feels too easy as hunters with good aim would always beat Titans with good aim cause there's virtually no travel time for GG shots. However 2 shots makes the Sunbreaker feel OP cause every other active (super bad depletes over time while in use) super is only a one shot for GG. So yeah I'd say two shots with GG amped RoF as in you can trigger finger it more.

Why not buff golden gun instead of nerf hammer of sol? It would be better in PvE, and it would let you whiners finally get what you want in PvP. (Just slightly in PvP, still takes two shots to down bubble)

I main warlock an sure its a little hard to kill a sunbreaker titan BUT its how it is so what sack up an learn a method to kill them titans needed a good super to even things out shit so you main as a hunter an getting butt hurt cause a titan can fight on even terms now? As i said i main warlock an can kill sunbreaker titans little tough sometimes but do able So what you gota burn 2 shots for one kill on a sunbreaker. As a warlock if i play voidwalker i ONLY got one shot with my nova bomb. Hunters bitching cause they are now having to learn to play. An now cause hunters spamming the shadow shot glitch trials are canceled this weekend
