I tried "getting use to it"..
I tried telling myself that there's nothing over-powered about a Sunbreaker Titan but after playing Iron Banner last night with people in my skill gap, I can no longer deny that the HoS Super is broken.
Golden Gun shots require more than 1 shot on a fully armored Titan.
Blade Dance cannot even get in proximity to do anything.
Shotgun+Melee leaves a dent and nothing more.
Headshots with snipers cannot kill

Like what else is there?
Running is probably the most effective way to combat it but if it's not gonna kill me, it's going to destroy my team.
I didn't know how much of an issue this was until I played control since I normally play rumble or 3v3 game types but this broken ass class needs to be rebalanced so that it's super isn't breaking pvp and to where the titan can offer more to a team outside of it's super.

Dude, what are you talking about? I've bladedanced a HoS before. It'll cancel both supers because they can usually get a hammer off, but better that than them killing your team off twice.

Nightstalkers can invis or poison, stormcaller recharge melee and grenades with one another, never mind the long range melee, sunbreakers only have one hance to get real kills, and thats with their super.

2 RepliesIve 1 GG shot sunbreakers before though. Sh*t, in my most recent clip i gave a sunbreaker the swiftest jukes popped my super and 1 shot him. I havent come across 2 shotting a SB

You lose because you run. Simple as that. It needs a nerf in the sense that Golden Gun needs a buff against it and that's it. If you pkay sunbreaker you'd know the armor really isn't as OP as people claim. 5 pulse bursts, one shotgun melee, 6 hand cannon shots... They all do the trick. You just need two people who don't run and you'll have a chance to kill.

If I had to give on at all I would only say maybe just maybe Sunbreakers damage resistance could he reduced slightly, like maybe 10%. I have played enough pvp lately, faced a number of those supers, and have yet to have this much of an issue like everyone whining like babies about it. -blam!- if it wasnt for a couple of tactical errors at the time I could have killed several more, supered. For me what makes all this so damn funny is I suck ass at pvp honestly I do and yet I haven't had 1 issue like all these far more skilled pvpers. What makes that issue even worse is if I was good with a sniper very few Sunbreakers titans would killed me. In pvp. So that begs a question to me, am I for some reason that much better than all these pvp badasses or do people just love to bitch and whine? Edit: comment as you will I said what I wanted and haters are welcome, I love their tears.

Golden gun should one shot... Shotgun melee combo should kill just like other active supers. As far as the uptime for the super.. Well look at storm callers.. That being said, give hunters more time with gg

5 RepliesTry team shooting. If more than one person concentrates fire on a Sunbreaker, it makes it hard for the Sunbreaker to aim and he will be taken down quickly.

Nova bomb, fist of panic, suppression grenades, and my favorite tether will all shut down a hammer or fight fire with fire and use hammer

Imagine it in trials, 3 sunbreakers stagger their supers, thats pretty much 3 round wins out of 5 easily

The Omolon eirene can one shot kill a HoS, if u are good enough to get the headshot and lucky enough for luck in the chamber. I've done it a couple of times.

7 RepliesI don't have a huge amount of light and I also only have a titan. However I've played a fair bit of iron banner this time and please type of crucible in the past. Now that sunbreakers are in the game, I've seen much more diversity in the classes which is great. If I see one, I just runaway. Same as gg. Same as bladedancer. Same as storm caller. Why risk trying to kill someone mid super? Runaway and let their super die off without effect

I don't see how they are op? I shotgun melee killed alot and they went down like a sack of sh*t and I'm a below average pvp player
