Path of the voidwalker quest is impossible.
Completing a strike while generating 7 orbs with a nova bomb 3 times. Is it me or is this just impossible to do [b][u]SOLO[/u][/b]?
Majors drop 3 orbs and you can only make a max of 7 orbs. Wearing the nemesis helmet doesnt help. It used to be 4 orbs per major and 8 orbs max.
Now with this new handicap try doing this quest in a strike where everyone else is also chasing orbs.
Way to go to make a pve quest competetive. Just damn retarded it is.
Edit: best advice that has been posted is the devils lair strike and just go all the way to the back right at spawn. A group of vandals spawn that can generate 7 orbs. Or go back to the beginning of patrol and go down where the 3 hive majors are. Its cheesing but i see no other way besides doing it in a fireteam.

Get in a stike with two of your buds, kill majors with your super, wipe, repeat.

Undying mind for all of em, not just voidwalker. Easy peasy and fun as hell, orbs for days from the team. Super after super after super. Hella fun.

5 RepliesJesus, I just wasted 30 minutes trying the vandals. Nova bomb absolutely sucks now, and can't kill all of them at once! I haven't been this frustrated in a long time with this game. WTF did you nerf our supers and then on top of it have them create less orbs. Are you trying to piss off your dedicated players?

Yes, Devils Lair is the easiest way to do it this week. But you need to go in with two friends so you don't get pulled forward if one or both of the other fire team members decide to die in the darkness zone. I did it all the way back where you begin in patrol with the three hive. The Striker quest is challenging as well but I did it in the level 26 Weekly heroic strike with Omnigul.

Bad juju obsideian mind and undying mind strike cake work even if others are chasing your orbs plus u feed off each others orbs for increased chances so wait time

It's easy. Use team work. Find a friend. Use Badjuju and Obsidian Mind.

2 RepliesEdited by GalacticMistake: 9/9/2015 10:21:18 PMI just did this quest on the undying mind strike. Used the light beyond nemesis for the extra orb and bad juju to charge my super quickly. Getting the 3x7 orbs was very easy once you reach the latter part with all the yellow mobs. Even with the other 2 players present who were doing the same thing (was nice too since we charged each others supers quickly that way).

1 ReplyIt's actually quite easy. Load up the spekis strike, then return to the steppes where the 3 hive majors are. Kill 3 times to get 7 orbs each time then finish the strike. Easy peasey lemon squeezy

If you have on armor that gives more orbs, like alpha lupi for Titan, the two yellows right before the doorway to phogoth will give you 7 orbs. Take a team of three there and just rotate killing the two, then jump off the side and die. Don't go into the doorway or the respawn will get messed up. If you do accidentally go in just start the boss fight, then all jump off the map and on restart the two yellows will be back. Easy peezy we did this last night. Two titans and a warlock. Add sankentris if you ever need help w it. Hope this helps

Also equipping an Orb making exotic like Alpha Lupi for Titan helps

It started with "reach level 30" and i completed that by going back to orbit then it told me to speak to Ikora and then it was done. Anyone else have this happen to them? Edit: my voidwalker quest. Havent checked my other characters yet

Do nightfall, its void burn isn't it so anything you hit is going down. Loads of majors and a few groups of thrall. Will take awhile though cos you can't wipe. Did it for gg quest and will try it for warlock tomorrow. Otherwise you need a decent fire team that will set up your kills and not take any - might have to repay the favour to them though!

Undying mind if you fail at stairs wait for boss to spawn for enemies super easy did it first try

1 ReplyDo weekly with 2 friends when you spawn go to cosmodrome where the 3 knights are underneath use bad juju obsidian mind repeat then join your friends back at omnigul and you finish strike

Undying mind is a good spot. A good team can tear up the stairs. Orbs for everyone!
