Path of the voidwalker quest is impossible.
Completing a strike while generating 7 orbs with a nova bomb 3 times. Is it me or is this just impossible to do [b][u]SOLO[/u][/b]?
Majors drop 3 orbs and you can only make a max of 7 orbs. Wearing the nemesis helmet doesnt help. It used to be 4 orbs per major and 8 orbs max.
Now with this new handicap try doing this quest in a strike where everyone else is also chasing orbs.
Way to go to make a pve quest competetive. Just damn retarded it is.
Edit: best advice that has been posted is the devils lair strike and just go all the way to the back right at spawn. A group of vandals spawn that can generate 7 orbs. Or go back to the beginning of patrol and go down where the 3 hive majors are. Its cheesing but i see no other way besides doing it in a fireteam.

I just finished the gunslinger quest today, that cloak is sick as hell. Working on Arc Blade and then I'll finish Voidwalker.

Did mine on omnigul. I used at least 10 supers. Got it easy. Just use bad juju plus an armor that gives you more orbs

1 ReplyDo the Undying Mind Strike. Keep your super until the giant hallway with tons of majors. Proceed to spam Nova Bomb while "Space Jam" plays in the background.

I did it choose night fall equip quick revive helm two gold bars equal 7 orbs

Edited by Lootcifer: 9/10/2015 5:22:54 AMI put on light beyond nemisis and stared Devils lair. Went back to stepps where patrol spawn . went downstairs and nova bombed 3 hive majors you get easy 7 because LBN Helm grants more orbs.hope this helped, also use bad Juju for faster super charge

Go back to the place where you teleport in on patrol and go down the stairs to your left and hit the hive guys as long as all three are together when you do it you'll generate 7 orbs. 2 RepliesJust go into the weekly 26. With two friends. Let one friend get it then kill yourselves before you beat omnigul. As long as you are still in that strike it will stay. That's how we did it first try. Hope this helps.

What I'm thinking is that Bungie made it to where you're supposed to wait to complete the quest later on. Like in a higher level strike there's a lot more majors meaning more orbs to gen. Plus the quest item is a level 40 so it'd just make since to do it later on.
