Path of the voidwalker quest is impossible.
Completing a strike while generating 7 orbs with a nova bomb 3 times. Is it me or is this just impossible to do [b][u]SOLO[/u][/b]?
Majors drop 3 orbs and you can only make a max of 7 orbs. Wearing the nemesis helmet doesnt help. It used to be 4 orbs per major and 8 orbs max.
Now with this new handicap try doing this quest in a strike where everyone else is also chasing orbs.
Way to go to make a pve quest competetive. Just damn retarded it is.
Edit: best advice that has been posted is the devils lair strike and just go all the way to the back right at spawn. A group of vandals spawn that can generate 7 orbs. Or go back to the beginning of patrol and go down where the 3 hive majors are. Its cheesing but i see no other way besides doing it in a fireteam.

Thanks for the advice guys.[/quote] Not true, I did it today. nightfall strike works best since there's enough yellows. You can make a max of 8 orbs with the chest. I used the first room and would keep dying. it was hard with randos since they wanted to beat it but I'd keep dying in bad areas until they died and we start over ; p Do with friends though, much easier

I'd recommend using Bad JuJu for quicker super regeneration as well.

1 ReplyWe got a fire team together that all needed the same last stage. Off we went to the archon priest strike. Minotaurs and hob goblins abound .We took turns getting our supers up and slammed one group of majors at a time. We did weaken them first to make sure we would get 7 orbs. Worked pretty quickly as we jumped over the side just before the hydra spawned. We needed about 6 wipes for our team. Then we just finished the strike.

They give you 7 Orbs. Just kill three times and then finish the NF. I did both Sun and Void Quest in 1 Run. Also you can solo the NF.

18 Replieswhy is everyone doing these quests now?? It's a level 40 item as a reward right? no one can use that. Plus you'll be doing content we've done for MONTHS now. I jumped on just to see what the hell was in this insanely massive update, and apparantly I hadn't done some stupid quest from the Dark Below chick, so I did it, at level 16. Halfway through, I thought, "why am i doing this" Did bungie really pull me into doing a mission released months ago that I've done as a weekly probably 10+ times now. I finished the strike and then turned off the game. Stupid to be doing anything now. Plus gotta love that they've included all the old missions as "quests" now with XP as rewards. This just tells me TTK doesn't have enough content to get us to level 40 and in two weeks there will be nothing to do but old s**t. People must be idiots for doing everything new the second bungie releases it. They've learned nothing, except that the legions of idiots will gobble up every piece of trash they put out for this game.

28 RepliesDon't complete those subclass quests yet! They are bugged and not awarding the specific class emblems. You can't redo the mission for them, only start a new character to get them.

if you play on ps4 that one mars strike withe the near endless waves of yellow mobs at the stairs make it really easy.

Edited by LordOfLordran: 9/10/2015 6:28:00 AMTrust me on this I just finished it just get 2 friends who are willing to help and go for the undying mind mission for the void walker quest because there's a lot of yellow mobs to easily get 7 orbs. For the sunsinger one, I did it on omnigul strike using fusion grenade when all the thralls are rushing you and you can easily rack the 20 kills. The reason why I ask you to get friends is because they won't get in your way when ur killing. I did it without friends but still doable and you gotta kill fast! BUMP so everyone can finish this quest easily.

If i did it with my Striker TiTan you can do it with a NOVABOMB do the Omnigul Strike when the Thrall come out , then when The door opens to the second part of the strike then when the fallen are droping from the ships

I did it after thinking the same thing. Bad juju, obsidian mind and very aggressive play style will get you there. I did the undying mind strike and got it on my first try.
