Is Thorn still going to be worth it after 2.0.0?
Do you think Thorn end up like how Suros did?

Thorn will just become like any other Hand Cannon. You'll have to Three shot to the head to kill. They're making it so the poison itself will no longer kill you.

It'll be similar to the vex now. The people using it as a crutch will insist that it's terrible, while the people who are actually good at the game will still wreck with it.

If the hand cannon nerf banishes them to oblivion like auto rifles then it will probably be mediocre and not worth an exotic slot. If they're decent still then it may be alright just because the mark of to devourer can keep shields down for a little bit.

It'll still kill in 3 body shots and since it can no longer kill in 2 headshots there will be no incentive to aiming for headshots, which the point of a hand cannon is to dome people

Thorn will still be one of the best weapons It will 3 shot with a minimum of 2 headshots and a body shot It's fire rate is more than enough for that

It'll be good for pve. Auto rifles will be better if you can get up close and personal.

If they just added weapon sway to hand cannons while ads it would solve a lot of the problems. The issue with hitting something 50 yards away with a handgun isn't that the gun isn't accurate enough, it's that it is really damn hard to hold a gun steady with no stabilizer (a stock).

Good question. Let me just check out the detailed patch notes and anecdotes from other players documenting how well the new Thorn performs in Crucible before making an informed decision. Oh wait, that's right, I can't time travel.

Thorn won't kill in 2 head shots or 3 body shots anymore. It will be just as good as any other hand cannon with the same stats.

Not going to matter much. I have a feeling the stacking dot is going to make it even more OP. I just hope it levels out some of the other weapons. I'm so tired of using thorn.

5 RepliesIt'll still be the best three shot HC around imo. WoC is pretty close...or a Fulcrum/Red Hand with a good roll. But DoT is still a very good bonus.

9 RepliesI don't get why people think it's going to be three hit. All handcannons are two hit headshot kills unless you have the ram with full health and Max armour.

It's going to be a shame that I can't land 2 head shots and wave anymore :( it's always fun to do that even if you hate the weapon

I think it will be able to kill in 3 head shots as motd will do 1 damage but will stack so it won't be able to kill in two
