Pocket Infinity
Invective
Dregs Promise
Queenbreakers Bow
Lord of Wolves
(ANY WEAPON YOU GET AWARDED AFTER YOU COMPLETE THE BOUNTY IN THE TOWER/REEF)
Why?
Because you are actively working to get said weapon, and 100% know that you will get it once the bounty is complete.
If you're relying on RNG to INSTANTLY get a weapon, it's not earned, it's given.
Props to everyone who is skilled enough to get all of the Vanilla Destiny Exotic bounty Exotics.
Hopefully, ALL exotics will have to be earned through a bounty, come TTK.
Then we will see who the real guardians are.

Have all the original exotic bounty weapons. Would have to say toughest was thorn. Doing the final strike was actually a bit tough

So I guess when I do my weeklies to get strange coins to buy from Xur isn't earning. Get off your high horse. If you have played the game, spent real time on it, you've earned your gear regardless of methods

3 RepliesI disagree. Rng is earned both ways for exotics example it took my 850 hours to get a gally but I had a thorn around 200 hours. Thorn was quickly dropped in a exotic bounty for me early but the gally took countless raids and nightfalls to get. If that isn't earning then I don't know what is

6 RepliesNechrochasm? I would say that just cause of eris morn rank 3 ( I believe? ) and the countless hive you had to slaughter to level it up, then the xp grind to bring eidolon ally to rank up to nechrochasm

RNG is earning on a larger scale. More time put in = more likely to get exotics through RNG.

My Gjallahorn was bought from Xur week 2. I also bought two pieces of armour by then as well and strange coins were not easy to come by that early on the heroic weekly was truly a heroic effort at level 22 or whatever I was at the time.

You earn all the guns in the game by spending "time" doing raids, poes, crucible etc... Everything's rng so it's basically a slot machine sim Everyone who bought the game earns everything by wasting your time away on this game. Unfortunately Bungie will eventually nerf the shit out of whatever gun your going for so its all really just a monumental waste of time. If you enjoy it great, I've spent more than 2k hours but this last weapon adjust was the straw that broke the camels back... Destiny rehab time I'm out...

It's given for completing an activity...hmm that doesn't seem like earning to me. You doing something in return for a weapon or armour hm.....doesn't seem like earning. You don't earn an exotic from the nightfall it's given to you for completing the nightfall SO different than earning. Am I right or am I right? Think your wrong.
