(ANY WEAPON YOU GET AWARDED AFTER YOU COMPLETE THE BOUNTY IN THE TOWER/REEF)
Why?
Because you are actively working to get said weapon, and 100% know that you will get it once the bounty is complete.
If you're relying on RNG to INSTANTLY get a weapon, it's not earned, it's given.
Props to everyone who is skilled enough to get all of the Vanilla Destiny Exotic bounty Exotics.
Hopefully, ALL exotics will have to be earned through a bounty, come TTK.
Then we will see who the real guardians are.

I'm tired of these posts.. Ok Getting the bounty is still RNG I got one with one bounty before and one with 60+ . Let's talk Thunderlord, Hardlight, ETC. If you had trouble in a nightfall and received a exotic it's still damn well earning it. Hard to get void kills for thorn? If your having trouble with that then you would have trouble with void nightfall thus not earning anything in it if you get carried or cheesed it.

Examining the first definition, the "money" is the strange coins/exotics we get from buying things from Xur/doing exotic bounties.. We are obviously the people. The "labor or services" is obviously the weeklies/exotic bounties etc. we do. So by definition, we earn everything Examining the second definition, the "action or activity" is the raid, PoE, even going last in a game of the crucible. We are the "someone" and the "money" is the loot. Notice how it says the activity caused someone to obtain money as a definition of earn. Is that not [i]exactly[/i] what we do? The example "this latest win earned them $50,000 in prize money" under the definition of earned proves that RNG is an acceptable form of earning. Some people often refer the RNG as playing the lotto. If this is true, then this example in the definition proves that's fine. Since everything is subject to random in Destiny, either everything is earned, or nothing is.

Aside from the random drop rate, you do earn them but some you earn more than others such as thorn

"Skilled enough to get all bounties" Getting the bounties is based off RNG... I havent gotten 1 for SGA or Pocket Infinity

this post is truly foolish. You are telling me that in a game where rng is the primary source of all of your stuff that only a certain amount of it is skill??? I understand your point but in this game you truly make your own luck because no gun is straight given to you. No matter what you did, nightfall/raid/crucible. YOU STILL DID SOMETHING FOR IT. And newsflash, those bounties get dropped randomly so dont tell me that they are all skill.

Thorn and Necrochasm IMO. Necrochasm due to it's stringent requirements and 3 stage process (not to mention the RNG). Thorn for the PvP and Xyor aspect of it. All other exotic bounties are a joke in comparison, although the Thorn PvP portion can be knocked out with relative ease nowadays.
