The bounty which is required to get the weapon is RNG which isn't earned so...

I guess I'm not good enough to "earn" the pocket infinity since RNG has never blessed me with the pocket infinity exotic bounty ever.

What about the two raid exotics? Vex Mythoclast and Necrochasm? Surely those must be earned as well and they are RNG. Or the fact that all of those exotic bounties are rng in order to drop. What about buying your weapon from Xur? Surely you must have earned those coins in order to purchase them. Even getting to most of the exotic drops requires some skill. The raid checkpoints, PoE chests, completing the Nightfall, etc. I wouldn't say then that these exotics aren't earned if they are strived for.

Honestly we earn everything we get. Most of the "good" exotics are earned from playing raids on hard. Completing these raids gives us good weapons that we earn. The exotics that xur sells are earned from doing dailys and getting strange coins to but them. The exotics you can get from the light house and the tiers I believe is the hardest because you have to go flawless. Even though I've been flawless many times I still think that is the hardest way to get good weapons. So in conclusion we basically earn every weapon we get bro.
