Does Xur's Schedule Prejudice Sabbath Observers?
Xur surprised me today - i did not know he leaves so early on Sundays and was working for that last coin to buy some legendary gear (it was my first time buying from him today).
I observe the Sabbath from sundown Friday until one hour after sundown on Saturday.
For 25 hours I cannot use electronics or work.
As a Destiny fan who is finally at the level where I can start buying from Xur, I was disappointed to find that he disappeared early on Sunday.
Why can't this vendor, who is the main source of exotics, stick around until the end of the weekend?
It's frustrating for me because I only needed one more strange coin to purchase some gear I really needed.
Is this Xurs usual pattern or was it just this weekend (I know there was an issue that he didn't have weapons for sale)?
Also, is there any chance of Bungie tweaking his schedule so us Sabbath observers can have him around as much as others do?

Try sun up Friday or getting exotics elsewhere. Be is not supposed to be your main source... Just the easiest.

When you get to the point where you run the weekly, all the PoEs, and even a weekly on some alt characters, youll be getting 60+ strange coins each week. Xur is here from friday at 5 AM, to sunday at 5 AM. not being able to use him for 25 of the 48 hours he's here is disappointing, but youll get to the point where it doesn't matter. I remember my first week in destiny I was a couple coins short to buy Red Death. But I got it because he sold it again. You didn't really miss much this weekend. He had no gun, and he often sells the armor pieces for the titan and warlock. The only special thing was the Celestial Nighthawk, which I'm sure will be sold again.

I hate to tell you but you have to just deal with it. Xur usually doesn't have the greatest stuff either and you usually get your exotics from nightfalls and raids. Level up your characters, go on lfg and find groups, and do the weekly strikes and run PoE for strange coins so you have enough for xur during the weekend.

It's a legitimate question, but your use of the word "prejudice" has opened the floodgates to hit you on that angle. The main answer to your question is, yes, this is his schedule. Keep in mind that Destiny is played worldwide, so a 2AM Friday morning arrival for me in California is a Friday noon arrival in Moscow, or a 6PM Friday night arrival in Tokyo. The weekend is a bit arbitrary depending on where you are in the world.

Xur follows no religion, so I don't think it's prejudice, it's just bad timing for you. And depending on how long you have played, xur really isn't that thrilling anymore. Good luck on your quest for gear.

If Xur is prejudiced against Jews than the rest of the world that does things on Saturday is as well. For informational purposes, according to internet stats, there are about 14 million Jews in the whole world. that's .2% And Xur is available from 2am Friday Pacific time to 2am sunday - that leaves you 23 hours to adjust your scheduled. Good rule of thumb - You accomodate the world, not the other way around.
