You clowns that are quitting don't realize new weapons are coming......
Yes, you people quitting because of weapons are clowns. You're unaware of how MMO type games work. You will grind for even better weapons in 2.0. They don't give the best weapons in the first year and call it a day; there will be more. Those new weapons will be obsolete at some point and others will come out, enjoy the ride.
Edit: The whole clown thing... I have a really good friend who quit this game because he didn't get a Ghorn yet. Guess what? I called him a clown as well ;)

2 RepliesI would tend to agree with you if it were not for Bungie's mishandling of weapons when the Dark Below was released. Though vanilla Destiny weapons were somewhat effective after TDB dropped, they were certainly not as good as they were before. The problem was that TDB weapons were, for the most part (except for a raid weapon or two and a handful of shotguns and snipers), not as good as the original weapons. What TDB exotics stood out? No Land Beyond? Necrochasm? Dragon's Breath? Bungie took great strides to correct this problem by allowing us to ascend vanilla weapons to 365. I'm not going to condemn anyone who is sceptical. I for one am optimistic that Bungie has learned a lot and will not disappoint in its new weapons offerings.

2 RepliesJust let them quit. Its a personal choice. Besides 90% of the ones that quit now will be back when 2.0 hits and try the stuff out. Now there will be the 10% that do quit and if they don't like then game then that's what they gotta do. Can't blame them. Its just annoying that 75% of them come to forums and advertise they are quitting for blah blah blah reason. Just shut up and leave. I didn't go to the forums and explain my reasoning for quitting call of duty. There is no point. Its just to grab attention. And most them fools that do that will be back

1 ReplyDestiny is not true to the MMO genre. It's a great [i]starter[/i] "MMO" for those that have never played one before. But the Destiny content is very, very small compared real MMO's. Bungie is dictating how they think we should play. That's not right. I want to become legend in my own right, I don't want to become legend by however Bungie intends me to be.

Some of them such as ghorn, IB, BH, Hawkmoon, VOC, FB, AE...etc are never going to be dismantled. I had 3 Husk of pit, I dismantled them to make more room. Now I have another croxs of Crota can't do anything until find another hop...ah. Don't dismantled anything!!!

1 ReplyThat's what's the level increase is for. Weapons will have ~400 attack, and light level will be 48 per armor. Same thing happened in TDB and HoW. Not nerfing, since new weapons will have he same nerfs/buffs

1 ReplyGoogle 'Destiny is not MMO' That said, makes sense that a whole new set of weapons and/or mechanism for their upgrade path might be introduced, seeing as TTK being formally next title in the series. And the 2.0 weapon tuning is fine, except a few sour ones that are PvE related (need extra sammich while camping with IceBreaker on solo NFs). Good riddance to imbalanced stuff.

2 RepliesI guess you haven't seen how almost every weapon has gone backwards ever since TDB. Pretty much the best weapon that can drop since the past two dlc's was Blackhammer. Have you even watched E3 game play of TTK and looked at the new perks available ? They're HORRIBLE and extremely situational. They basically came out with the best weapons and perks at launch. Which was very foolish. I highly doubt they could make better weapons and perks without borderline breaking the game. Wouldn't get your hopes up.
