You clowns that are quitting don't realize new weapons are coming......
Yes, you people quitting because of weapons are clowns. You're unaware of how MMO type games work. You will grind for even better weapons in 2.0. They don't give the best weapons in the first year and call it a day; there will be more. Those new weapons will be obsolete at some point and others will come out, enjoy the ride.
Edit: The whole clown thing... I have a really good friend who quit this game because he didn't get a Ghorn yet. Guess what? I called him a clown as well ;)

9 RepliesNah, they're just nerfing the old ones so the new ones seem better. You guys will be like, "wow this sniper/rocket launcer is so much better than Black Hammer/Icebreaker/Gjahllerhorn!" Well that's because they nerfed them. They realized that their new weapons were going to be sub-par so they nerfed old ones to below the new standard.

3 RepliesVOG weapons are the best in my opinion along with other vanilla weapons. The reason bungie has to nerf weapons in order for people to use the newer weapons is due to lack of imagination. Don't nerf my weapons, make me switch to the newer ones by making them that much better.

Problem is that they haven't told us the rules from the beginning, either because they are making them up as they go or because they are jerking us around for artificial longevity. If everyone knew what the rules were about these things then they could make informed decisions about how to spend their time. As it is now it seems that they are jerking players around because...will the gear still be relevant or not with each expansion??? Stay tuned for the [i][u]twists[/u][/i] we have in store for you guardian.

2 RepliesI'm not quitting but it's the implementation and principle of Bungies actions that many loyal players are upset at. My feelings that I posted. : First off, thank you Bungie for all the countless hours I have played and enjoyed. With an immense amount of gratitude I will tell you that for me the 2.0 Weapon Update was a BIG BUZZ KILL. In my humble opinion you guys shouldn't have waited so long, and you shouldn't have condensed EVERY SINGLE weapon tweak all on one update. It's too much, and what I mean by that is, as a summary your weapon update is just ONE BIG NERF. That's what many of us feel. I suggest you communicate better with us and most of all ACKNOWLEDGE MUCH SOONER than you did. I have a feeling you have pissed a lot of gamers off, and I would recommend strategizing a little differently next time when you decide to change the outcome of the whole entire game with weapon balance. I'll see when you release TTK and hope you listen to your loyal fan base. Peace.

1 ReplyI don't think most people realize that odds are the weapons we have now are most likely being replaced In ttk like entirely if destiny really will try the mmo route, and these nerfs are a idea of what the new weapon archetypes will be for the weapons, but hay that's just me and I'd rather wait and see how it ends up than judge.
