Ignore the ignorant voices who try to tear you apart, nothing that makes you different from the rest is youre fault, especially dealing a life with autism. You are you and that is what makes us all proud. And if the others cant see it, neither should you. We all have our own light that shines down on us, and to keep that light from burning out, we have to be truthful to who we are inside. Life isnt about copying others to fit in, or acting the way someone else is, you are you. I hope that the ones who bully you one day realize how hard it is to be looked down upon. And I hope one day, the selfish and the weak will be treated the same. Ignore the ignorant voices.

I'm autistic to. :) I'm 32 married - we don't have kids yet. I have had a successful career that I retired from at 28. I don't really have to work any more but I find its good to keep doing things or me and my wife get bored... I've never worked out a good reason why people bully. I've had many suggestions... Mostly to do with the bully's having feelings of either inadequacy, guilt, troubles in their personal or family life. Personally I think it's more to do with some people are just twats. You have to put up with them while your young as asking a teen a simple question like "so why do you act like a an immature idiot?" Usually get a stupid response. However as you get older I find asking such question in public can have quite a useful effect. I run a relatively large dept. of a company and in the monthly meeting I asked one of our newer employees as our first point of conduct, "So why have you been sending inappropriate sexual emails from your work account to female members of staff? The IT dept are complaining that they don't want to have to read them. Which if you read our IT policy you'll find they have to when they are flagged by the censor programming system." He had a private meeting a week prior however didn't desist. It sorted the problem out quite quickly and his work has been really good since then. Also the female members of the team really appreciated it being addressed, even if it was a little "awkward", we have a policy of having to state relationship between members of staff this forms part of the HR dept duties and is basically used a sexual harassment tool. Funnily enough though I've only ever had to fire one woman for sexual misconduct at work and never a male. Swings in roundabouts but that's life, the simplest questions usually have the hardest answers. You won't like 90% of people but can put up with 60% of them the 10% you can't stand are usually easy enough to keep far from you daily life. Oh and life was great post compulsory education, most the "problems" people though I had turned out to be thing that major companies really wanted to pay me a lot of money to do. It's just finding the person to give you the money.

My brother is has autism, ADHD and is bi polar. I swear though he has the best memory I have ever seen a person have. Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of if you have anyone of these. Anyone who disagrees should be dick punched.

My 3 year old son has autism. He beats up 6 and 7 year olds pretty badly who tease him and are mean to him. It's pretty amusing. Don't worry about bullies, sooner or later they get theirs.
