Far from dead. Still my goto strike/poe weapon

You're crazy, it's still useful as all hell. Sometimes I still even have it on during an arc burn Nightfall for when those damn shielded shanks come out...

It's a perfect weapon for the Vex boss in PoE.. Whoever gets the jail breaker buff can one shot the bubbles without worrying about ammo down the strech.. I don't use the weapon much but in certain situations it's very useful

People tend to forget about due to Gally, but it's still a viable option on many missions.

It's not dead at all, use it all the time to get some special ammo when I run out or between POE rounds to get some shots for my BlackHammer, ammo glitching, solar burns, etc.

2 RepliesIce Breaker is very much alive and kicking. VoG, Crota, PoE ... burn with Galley or rocket of choice, then swap to ice breaker for profit during synth cool down. I use it a lot. Switch to Invective for close and personal, ammo for days :)

It's my go to weapon for boss fights. Not worrying about picking up or synthing ammo is nice.

I personally still think it's one of the most vital/useful exotics. I still use it in most raids at least half the time.

Useful for abyss in CE. +2 agility and you can no scope thralls (1hit body shot) and watch as the whole group of them explodes. Seriously, try it! Better than FB imo since you have to aim and reload with that thing. Also no agility bonus. But otherwise ghorn + ruin wings and black hammer outclass IB in almost every way.
