Why are people using the gally in cruicble?

I use it because I run The Messenger and Party Crasher +1 so I figure why not use an exotic heavy.

when i do, it is because i have an open exotic slot. leg. scout, and sniper why waste putting a legendary heavy in there when i can put a gjallar in there and get 4 rnds with it

It can kill a self res warlock and blade dancer in one rocket. Other legendaries can't.

Because it's their load-out and they'll play how they want. Simple as that really.

It has tracking, tracking cluster, built in grenades and horse shoes, and great stats. Makes it better than truth

I think Truth is better because of the much larger blast radius and aggressive tracking. But ghorn is really good in PvP as well

I don't use TLW or Thorn because I am preparing for the Great Handcannon Nerf of 2015. Plus the Ghorn is just nasty, can almost guarantee 4-6 kills with it

Ghorn is awesome under any circumstance due to wolfpacks. The idea that it shouldn't be used in crucible is base on the fact that it takes up your exotic spot.This doesn't matter if you have a good primary legendary such as the Messenger.

Mostly for the tracking and proximity detonation combo. Truth and ghallarhorn are the onlu rocket launchers in the game with both. Anything else has to be tracking OR proximity detonation. Not both.

Cause only scrubs rely on exotic primaries. I used a legendary scout, full auto, explosive rounds, 3rd eye and red dot sight. Destroys hand cannon users. G-Horn is great for blind fire, it has horse shoes(hidden perk), tracking and the wolf pack rounds will kill anyone nearby that's been grazed by the blast.
