Bungie breaking their word on skolas POE
They said they would never change the 35 POE yet every week it changes burns and now there is no burns at all. Yea they compensated by dropping his health but even with a full round of gallys pumping into him you barely scratch his health. If it really is dropped to 15k health then how does he survive so much damage then. This isnt to bag out the game nor the game mechanics or anything implemented into the game. This is about bungie saying one thing and then doing another thing that contradicts with that they said they were going to do the first time

4 RepliesOk dude, lemme drop some math on this shiz, because obviously you don't understand. Skolas' health was originally 27,000 Each burn gave about 3x extra damage on that specific burn. (I'm guessing it's around 3x, I don't really know) If you shot at skolas with burn weapon for 100 damage per second until he died (which is 300 damage with burn) you would kill skolas in 90 seconds. Skolas' health is now 15,000 No burn means that only normal damage is accounted for. If you shot at skolas continually for 100 damage per second until he died, he would die in 150 seconds. If you actually do the math, you would realize that bungie did not NERF skolas' health, they just made sure you would have to fight skolas in 10-15 minutes like they originally planned the fight, instead of killing him in 45 seconds with solar burn. Skolas is MUCH easier now because you don't get one shotted by anything anymore, especially Skolas's stupid unlimited clip scorch cannon, and you have control over the trash spawn, because skolas ONLY summons minions after each specific part of his health is reached. The mob spawn used to be on a timer. IF YOU TAKE YOUR TIME, you would realize how simple this fight really is. If you are having trouble, then save your supers for each round of mines. The first mines round is when skolas' health is at half. The second is at about 10% health. Hope this helps.

Okay, so without the burns my fireteam and I killed that asshat Skolas, without using gally. (I know I have one and I don't need too?! That's crazy.) With communication and trying something other than dropping him with a gally. (He's not crota guys. Blasting him with rockets won't knock him down, lol. Jokes.) It's just as much a challenge without the burns as it was with burns. That scorch cannon kicked my ass when it was solar burn. Least now my character doesn't turn around trying to say Fu- then dying. Lol.

6 RepliesThe new version is harder yet I find it far more enjoyable. My fireteam actually needed to communicate with each other very and well and we eventually beat it early today. Whereas the burns we finished it instantly with no communicating. I say we should leave the burns off to make it a more enjoyable activity

I just beat him tonight, took some extra time and required a lot of communication between other guardians. I like new version and feel it gives more of a deserving accomplishment.

Using gally isnt cheesing scrubs, quit bitćhing that you dont have one. Skolas is gay now, no point in even doingit when i literally pumped 20 gallys up his ass and barely took 10% of his health. 15k health for him is a load of shìt. Also, you said that the enemies would spawn according to skolas's health. Then why the fućk are they spawning the same speed, if not FASTER, then before? Total bullshiţ, im done with PoE, screw the cyphers.

3 RepliesI only think to much easy now we kill him in about 10min using the proper way i dont understand your point. I kill on void using proper way. With solar and arc we could only kill him in the 1st 40 second. I think they should have not taking is heatlh just to make it more challenging too easy skolas now
