Edit: gears looks beautiful but I don't think it's gonna make Playstation users switch... Not after what they presented. Backwards compatibility, it's good of course but why do you wanna play old games in next gen?
Trying to be objective: gears looks beautiful, I'm not sure if halo will be a blast or it will be like titanfall but I'd love to find out

I didn't like the look of the last guardian. Horizon looks goddamn amazing and uncharted is my favorite game series so hell Ya on four. But recore looks amazing along with gears and halo. Plus backwards compatibility is great for ppl like me that switched from ps3 to Xbox one and I'd like to play some of the older games that I missed out on with the 360. I don't think their is really any other winner than us, the gamers.

Both consoles had great new stuff about them, Xbox had a strong start and Sony didn't do too shabbily. People are, however, too biased based on what platform they use, it's human nature to defend one's previous decisions. Playstation IS better right now, but Microsoft definitely won e3, and I speak as a user of both consoles.

Xbox is garbage and should be banned from gaming world :) No one has ever made a better game than final fantasy 7. Those who disagree with me have never played the game. - Edit - I have xbox 360, ps3, xbox one and ps4. I really don't care which console is better/faster/smarter/whatever, all i know is that for gaming... the PC has no rival. Im a big fan of JRPG/RPG games such as (see below) * Final fantasy series. * Lost odyssey. * The last remnant * Tales of graces f * Tales of vesperia. * Tales of Xillia * Tales of Xillia 2. * Tales of zestiria ( will be coming out soon on ps3 and ps4) * Fallout series. * The elders scrolls series. * Resonace of fate * and so many others. The reason why i prefer the ps3 and ps4 more is because it has more exclusive JRPG/RPG games. I know xbox has the last remnant, lost odyssey, final fantasy XIII and XIII-2 and few other rpg games but thats it... most games are shooter games :/

They had some remarkable announcements, but it was a look too far into the future for my tastes. Horizon looked interesting, and of course there's The Last Guardian and Uncharted 4, but what did they show that we'll be playing before next spring? FFVII is 2017 at the earliest, and Shenmue III is years away.

In all honestly, this was a lackluster e3 as I wasn't surprised by anything shown. Lots of sequels and the leaks ruined the surprise. Best part of e3 was watching the gametrailers guy's reaction to shenmue 3 kickstarter.

Microsoft showed third party timed exclusives. Microsoft showed a VR gimmick that will be used by third party developers. Sony announced tons of third party timed exclusives. Sony showed a VR gimmick that will be used by third party developers. Three of the ten most watched YouTube videos from either Microsoft or Sony conference were third party timed exclusives. And six of the top 20. Four of the top 20 things weren't even games. ...... Correct me if I'm wrong?

You just thought Halo would be like Titanfall............ Titanfall.... a game that had 6 multiplayer maps and literally nothing else...... compared to a game that has a multi day/week campaign, forge, custom games, multiplayer, and some sort of survival.... you're a dumb ass

Gears of War 1-3 were the best games ever made. There's no doubt about that. I was a hardcore fan and even bought the Gears of War 3 edition Xbox. But they should have stopped there. I'm now a PS4 player and love it. But I hope the best for GoW 4. My only concern is the new characters. Gears isn't gears without Marcus Fenix.

Sony left me with questions. Okay i can't think of the name of the game but its the one where you're a hunter fighting robotic dinosaurs, that doesn't cater to me at this point of life, it looked like something my nephew would play. Media Molecules new game, im not even sure what it is. Uncharted is Uncharted, im gonna buy it but if the MP is like U3 instead of U2 it won't last for me. The last gaurdian still looks good but i still need more info. Never played Ff7 on any previous PlayStation so i probably still won't play it on my PS4. That and it's mainly just nostalgia. Xbox showed what i wanted BC cause i do wanna play older games on my newer console (i still play my o Ps2 games) since i no longer have my 360 or ps3. Hololens looks pretty dope along with oculus (i still think vr is gonna be the next gimmick). Im a huge Gears fan so of course im psyched for both. Im still a big Halo fan Fallout 4 obviously. And MS didn't even reveal everything at E3, no Earthbound, Quantum Break, Crackdown, those will be at gamescom. And most of all a lot of what MS presented is coming out this year, not next year.

I think a lot will be switching to playstation just for the black ops 3 exclusivity it has and i love Microsoft but the Xbox one isn't as good as I thought it was

1 ReplyI loved the games that Microsoft presented but I mean the games on Playstation just have some gorgeous and very beautiful worlds. Now I play on Xbox but like to watch the Sony conference whenever E3 is around because it's nice to see what they're getting. What I don't like is that it seems like Sony is trying to get as many exclusives as possible. Which is one of the reasons people think Sony won this year (I myself think both conferences are equal). I don't care if they do but I just don't see the reason as to why they need as many as they can get. My guess is just to try to be on top and seem better but I honestly don't know.
