What you would you think if Gjallarhorn was nerfed?
Only reason people want this weapon is because it is OP as hell. To create less demand, make it worse. 👌
Gjallarhorn being as good as it is now makes all other heavy weapons obsolete. (sometimes even on activities with different burn modifiers)

It was a "hey everyone keeps using Suros Regime during IB especially when we put in a bounty requiring Auto Rifle headshots...let's take the teeth out of the entire weapon class!" response. Yet here we are, with Thorn sitting pretty as god-tier PvP weapon of choice, and Gjallahorn being the greatest thing for PvE since trigger-fingers.

And if you are being kicked from a team for not having one, you probably shouldn't be playing with them anyways. And I guarantee if you had one, this post would exist. I love that some of the PoE bosses have unique mechanics, but every team I'm on can't do it legit and just resorts to Gjallarhorn spamming. It doesn't need a huge nerf, just one that will keep it from melting bosses like it does now.

2 RepliesOr buff the other exotic heavies!!!! Also dragons breath already can do nearly as much damage so we'd probably switch to that vs bosses depending on how badly nerfed it was.

I'm pretty sure you're just a troll or something, but you're all wrong with that and I've got nothing better to do with my day. Ghorn doesn't make all other heavies obsolete, they make themselves obsolete. Ghorn's simply the only one that can actually get the job done, remove that and nobody would use heavy at all; snipers like Black Hammer and Ice Breaker would be the go-to weapons instead, maybe machine guns like Thunderlord in arc burn. Buff up the other rockets to compare, not buff down the Ghorn.

7 RepliesIt shouldn't be the answer for everything. I always bring up the vault of glass. No where in vog do you need the ghorn. Everything can be done with a good sniper. Most teams even finish atheon faster with snipers rather than with a ghorn. It is just the lack of a good end boss fight mechanic that makes the ghorn stand out. Every boss is a bullet sponge and that is exactly where the ghorn works best.

Nobody I know runs gally during arc or void burns.. Get a radegast in arc and void and I can assure you that you will be rocking those for nightfalls with burns
