What you would you think if Gjallarhorn was nerfed?
Only reason people want this weapon is because it is OP as hell. To create less demand, make it worse. 👌
Gjallarhorn being as good as it is now makes all other heavy weapons obsolete. (sometimes even on activities with different burn modifiers)
⭐Bungie has already said one weapon should not be the answer for everything.

Yes I have one but I also carry Truth for void, TL for arc, and 2 Harms just incase I need to primary or secondary a exotic. All do just fine... When running strikes I was actually happy to see them wolfs circling the boss. Or hear the ice breaker bark.

But here's the thing, I was a big fan of nerfing Suros until it happened and I got it 2 days later. It went from the craziest, most sought after weapon in the game to who gives a shit in one update. I was so excited to get it. Then I used it for about 5 kills and its sat in my vault, unleveled, ever since. Why Nerf something only to make it pointless? Some of you people have been waiting for it for over 1000 hours. Do you really want to get a completely useless piece of gear when it finally drops? Leave it as it is so that you have something to look forward to. When you get it, do you want to yell and deafen your fire team or just go Oh shit, finally...

12 RepliesIt's not OP. It just the weapon has the highest damage output. Nerf it and another weapon will move to the top. Besides its s situational weapon. Yes, you mostly hear about it for big boss fights because it's the best tool for the job. Other than that, people do use other heavy weapons all the time. For example. Truth is a much better rocket launcher to use in Crucible. Thunderlord is awesome and very underrated. Try using it he next time there's an arc burn nightfall. You'll be amazed. Black hammer is better against Atheon Any good tracking rocket launcher takes down Crota with a group.

How about a buff to all rockets initial explosion so other rockets can be used aswell. Maybe nerf the wolf pack rounds by like 33% less damage.

5 RepliesThey won't nerf it.. It is fine just the way it is. It is an exotic that's why not everyone has it.. HoC is a great rocket launcher too.. They should make the clusters a little more powerful and I think people will be happy, but not as powerful because it is not an EXOTIC weapon. The Gjallahorn is in a class of it's own and it should remain that way.. It bring's allure to Destiny. That is why people want it.. Bungie just need to stop listening to crybabies and leave it be

Actually it not only makes other Heavies obsolete, it makes all other exotic weapons obsolete (in PVE anyway). But nerfing it would be a mistake because it would make the game less fun. Its not over-powered enough to make a high-level PVE encounter not challenging where it would be without one. Just less-tedious.

4 RepliesThunderlord is better. Gally is situational. A nerf wouldn't change when I use Gally since I only use it for certain boss fights. They just need to insure Gally doesn't burn down end game content like they did with VOG or Crota.

I think Bungie realizes that nerfing a weapon like Jellyhorn would be a huge mistake especially considering it doesn't break PvP.
