To all the real veterans of destiny. The ones who read countless paragraphs of constant complaining ; Nerf this! Nerf that! No story?! Lighthouse ? . . NERF IT ! Taken king ? . . $40 ? -blam- NERF IT ! Trials! SKOLAS! too hard! NERF IT PLEASE Bungie!

Maybe some of you are wondering what that means? It means , " Time consumes everything" my Name, Username, relates to Destiny. Time will consume all the scrubs away driving them off from destiny, while we vets know the potential of destiny , we shall stay and enjoy our stay for the next 10 years. Feel my friends. Feeel.

Back in my day, instead of complaining and asking to nerf things, we would just find a way around it if we felt like it. Like cheesing. Plus it added another element to the game that gave us options depending on how we felt like playing that day. Guardians nowadays will never know the struggle . . .

1 ReplyWhile I wouldn't consider myself a vet seeing as I only got the game around March, my biggest let down is the community. Not the community that are likely to post genuine comments here and elsewhere, but the underbelly of people, whom like you say, ask for nerfs here and moan about this and want everything catered for them. When I started out I knew nothing, but I'd say I'm pretty much there now. I know the vast majority of the lore, I love the game mechanics, I enjoy PvE every single time I play, but yet I feel somewhat disheartened while I think about the things that some people in this community say. Things such as "everything is locked content, Bungievision don't want you using this weapon, you are a noob if you haven't gone flawless". It's these kind of things that play on my mind, which granted is something that I need to learn to overlook, but so much crap is written about this game on these forums day in and day out and it really brings the overall experience of the game down for me. That being said, I'm avidly awaiting Year 2, I'm getting the Collector's Edition despite already having paid £60 on the original content, and I'm gonna love every second I put into the game. I just really wish the nagging side of the community could have their own forums to post on, so we true Destiny fans can have real discussion about the game created for us.

All I'll say is. People always associate the day one vets as the people who AREN'T complaining. That's not true. I've complained about a few things in Destiny. Like how OP The Last Word was. And I an an Alpha player.

1 ReplyI enjoy destiny and my only complaint is the community and bungies stance on upgrading weapons. Upgrade dont upgrade etheric light nonsense. Hopefully this is it.

All these whiny 12 yo saying that everything is "op" or "needs a nerf" the gun is available to EVERYONE if you just try. If you say "but im not good with (insert aforementioned "op" gun here)".then get good with that weapon! And if you say that "i just want to have fun with my no land beyond,but those thorn scrubs keep killing me!" Then just get good with the no land beyond. I think these butthurt 12 yo's are complaining because they are just [i][u]bad.[/u][/i] I found a hacker once in ToO.did i go on the forums saying "BAN ____ FOR CHEATING!!!1!!" No. I simply left a report for cheating,and moved on. In the end,was thorn [b][u]really[/u][/b] that bad,when you still have last word 2-3 shotting shotguns one shotting,fusion rifles one shotting, snipers one shotting?its just a game with fast time to kill,which thorn really didn't have,unless you got a third shot off.you could just get the thorn user before you die,if you are good.
