Why did android get a MUCH better app than iphone?
The new android app blows the IPhone app out of the water. What gives? Why didn't we get the same app?
Bump if you are an iPhone user and want the new app!

For those wondering what the iPhone app looks like, it hasn't changed. Just some minor tweaks for the newer iPhones.
I used to have a galaxy s5 active, and really enjoyed the phone. It kept unlocking in my pocket on hot summer days though (I work outside) and I was pocket dialing someone every 5 minutes. Screen must have been too sensitive or something. That alone made me switch back to my iPhone. Not hating on androids!

Its because Android's fragmentation issues : There is currently 4 versions of Android heavily in use ( 4.1.x, 4.2.x , 4.4 and 5.0) the app needs to run stably on all of these before coming out of beta iOS is iOS - 100% unified os with minimal flaws . Bungie don't need to test this - it will appear like the current beta Android build when they feel its stable for general release >Sol

As a user of both, I prefer the iPhone version. It's sleeker and less complicated just giving the options you need. Yes, its not as visually appealing but iOS as a whole is just a bit less complicated to me
