Why did android get a MUCH better app than iphone?
The new android app blows the IPhone app out of the water. What gives? Why didn't we get the same app?

For those wondering what the iPhone app looks like, it hasn't changed. Just some minor tweaks for the newer iPhones.
I used to have a galaxy s5 active, and really enjoyed the phone. It kept unlocking in my pocket on hot summer days though (I work outside) and I was pocket dialing someone every 5 minutes. Screen must have been too sensitive or something. That alone made me switch back to my iPhone. Not hating on androids!

...I inherently disagree that, that is even slightly near the realm of better, it looks very android standard medicine cabinet chat app to me.. Whereas the destiny app on iOS is actually resolving its own kind of convoluted UX and making sense as a companion and vault tool.

Going from iPhone to Android, I personally can't wait to go back. I love the customization, but damn, terrible battery life, already getting massive hangups 8 months into my g3. It's the same issue that caused me to switch to iPhone from an evo 4g. Oh well. Just my opinion though, I know people love there androids.

I have both and I honestly think they are equals just each one is better for different things and people! For example, feel like running some barebones Linux or having something more developer friendly? Go with android (doesn't have to be Samsung, plenty of manufacturers make android phones go find one that's best for you!) looking for something sexy and simple that doesn't lack the horsepower to run some games from the Apple Store? Or even perhaps buy your teenage daughter or even parents/grandparents a device that is simple to use yet intuitive and fun? Go with an iPad or iPhone!!

Stay on topic the op was about the app. Not iPhone vs Samsung. Since you brought it up samsung makes great displays. I have two ss tvs and they are awesome. But ss galaxy is a cheap iphone knock off. Ss like anything put under pressure bends or the cheap plastic cracks.
