Rant: Thorn takes 0% skill to use in Crucible.
As above, thorn takes 0% skill to use in the Crucible, fed up of people sitting in corners with it... Needs to be nerfed and I'm probably not the first to think this.

To use it? Yes, it takes no skill. But to actually master this gun takes a fair bit of skill. Still as a thorn user I do think that it needs to reverted back to what it was like before the buff.

Really? 0% skill? So i can just blind fire shots, not aim at all and shoot through walls and STILL get kills? because skill does require some aiming. It also requires some map and radar knowledge if im not mistaken. Seems like your crucible game is at 0% right now if you cant outgun a thorn.

Learn to play of you get hit by thorn go and Regen then come back for some more, it's all about how you play. I have thorn and I use it but I only use it if there is multiple people on other teams using it as I do feel like it's very strong if you are good with it.

4 RepliesGeez people the lore of the gun even states the Dregen Yor used it to spank everyone in the crucible. Why are you surprused one of the most advertised guns from the release of the game is powerful. That being said the thorn takes more skill than a lot of guns. It's a 3 shot gun provided 2 of them are precision shots. (At least for me). If you can't dodge or beat a hand cannon user you're the one that needs to get better.

1 ReplyWhy complain about thorn when everyone wanted it buffed? We should just have every gun have the same stats and perks, that would be balanced. Then everyone would complain. PvP players will always call nerf, might as well make all guns shoot rainbows and butterflies.

I'd like to see the burn activate only on head shots. Increase the skill needed to use the weapon, and the payoff balances out

1 ReplyJust play the damn game. Nothing is stopping you from using the thorn. Most people could care less about your "rant" and just want to have fun using a good gun. Everyone has an equal chance to use the thorn. And if everyone uses it in the crucible, so be it!
