Rumble is ALMOST to the point of unplayable.
I say this because 80% of the games I join 4/5 other players are using thorn or tlw.
Now yes, you can still win with other guns and skill. I almost always finish with around 19 kills (21-22 usually to win) and I win every few rounds. But you're at a HUGE disadvantage if you don't use one of these 2 guns because they are far beyond other weapons 1v1.
It's simple. Hand cannons shouldn't 2 shot. There really is no more diversity in PVP.
Now yall are just gonna make comments about how I'm complaining, whining, etc. but deep down you know these weapons are broken.
The best part of Destiny PVP is it's Time To Kill. It doesn't take .5 seconds to kill someone like in COD. But the few 2 shot primaries really ruin that.
Even if they made it so every gun was Nerfed in a sense (not really) so that it took atleast 3 shots from a handcannon to kill someone no matter the gun. So every weapon just does a little less damage in the CRUCIBLE ONLY. Therefore making the TTK higher for every gun, and skill can play a bigger factor in gun fights.

11 RepliesThat is the greatest part of rumble, you have all these idiots running around with tlw/thorn thinking they're guns will win the game for them, then as the game continues you notice them swapping between different guns as you continue to shit on them. Its the easiest playlist to consistently win because every in it is horrible.

Yeah I played Rumble for the first time in ages the other day...every single player was using Thorn or the TLW. Me and my friend I went in with basically had to switch to TLW.

6 RepliesEdited by Angel of Verdun: 4/25/2015 1:53:26 PMTLW cant be a 2 shot kill while ADS, with hawkmoon you have to be lucky to trigger the extra damage perk in the 2 shots, and with thorn the DOT do the job after the second headshot, that give the victim time to kill you and even trigger health effect (Red Death)

They need to buff the unused guns like mida, hardlight, monte carlo, and others so they have a high ttk too.

It's a really bad to nerf hand cannons at the moment hawk moon tlw and thorn are the only hand cannons that 2 shot every other hand cannon 3 shot someone so if you nerf tlw or thorn or hawk moon they will be too much like a normal hand cannon and won't be worth the exotic slot in pvp or pve

I won a game of rumble with a Big Chief Mk45 and a Bronzed Chasma Esc, didn't get heavy at all. Its perfectly playable.

Yesterday i had one of my best Rumble runs with vex and my least favourite character Warlock/ Ys TLW and Thorn is bad ass weapons but you can counter them with other weapons with no issues at all imo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moLHt6ip_DE

I do agree they make a couple of the hand cannons ridiculous, but I also think one of the reasons they are so effective is because all the older maps even if they are medium sized there is so much shit in the way. Nothing is open so it limits things to close range gun fights. That's also why shotguns work so well. The dark below maps are perfect I think may better balanced then the older ones. Just my thought.

11 RepliesWhat bothers me is Bungie keeps making changes and they dictate a way to play and weapon to use. Ppl were complaining about shotguns and fusion rifles. They nerfed them. They were still complaining so they nerfed the ammo. Now primaries are dominating. And ppl complain about them. They should have left it because now this will never end. It's a eternal cycle that they started. As is yeah they can make more changes but these nerf and buff crap is really annoying. They need to just stop cuz it will never be perfect.
