The claim '100% of people who drink water die' is false.
There are people currently alive [b]who[/b] have consumed water, therefore the mortality rate is not 100%

Edit2: the post is more about the grammatical structure of the sentence, not the topic. If you take what the claim says literally then it is false.

9 RepliesIt's not a real saying to be taken serious. Nor is it religious. Everyone drinks water and everyone dies. So 100% of people who drink water(everyone since water is needed for life) will die(since death is inevitable).

I disagree. The statement did not say, "100% of people who drink water are dead", so unless you can prove that someone who is currently alive and drinking water will not die, you cannot render this statement untrue.

They do die. The statement doesn't imply that they die [i]immediately[/i], just that they die. And that is completely true.
