Thorn users in PvP are pathetic.
Before you get your undies in a bunch, read #2 below.
While I do not agree with a hand cannon nerf, people that use a fully upgraded Thorn in the Crucible are pathetic. Especially you 32s in the Iron Banner. So pathetic. And, for all you Thorn fanbabies reading this: I'll have Thorn as soon as I kill Xyor this weekend. And when I do, just as my gaming buddies, I will choose [i]not[/i] to bring it the the Crucible. I'll continue to push your teeth through your head without it.
1. I do not know why my stats don't show up. I have my privacy settings off. I've been here since launch. I have three level 31 Guardians, one of each class. My primaries are MIDA, Up for Anything, and Timur's Lash. Specials are LDR 5001 and Invective, depending on my character and the map.
2. I used inflammatory language to get your attention. It worked really, [i]really[/i] well.

7 RepliesThere is no way I can agree with this logic. It's a competitive game. You should want to use every advantage you can get your hands on. Find a fireteam and get Xyor down. That's how I did it. Play any game out there and you will see that most people tend to pick up strong weapons and characters. You could do the same, too. If you want to play with other less strong weapons that is your prerogative.

I totally agree with you I have a fully upgrade Thorn...I -blam!-ing hate geting killed with that..don't get me wrong I love the hand cannon but its so annoying I'd rather use my Hawkmoon or Fatebringer. But I will say, thorn is great in iron banner when you need that rep.

I don't like using thorn because it feels cheap. I only use it when someone else it using it and good with it.

12 RepliesI'm not here to disrespect you in this post. After reading it, the thought crossed my mind [i]how[/i] this is [i]feedback[/i] for [i]destiny[/i]. Thorn, which is a difficult bounty to complete, is a pistol that when earned is well deserved. Now, to post a thread telling those who have earned it that using it that they are "pathetic" is [b]not[/b] feedback about the game, it's functionality, or it's playability. This post is directed at players, and with a bias or hatred of them for using something that Bungie provided. No disrespect to you at all, despite the disrespect of those who use the weapon. However YOU have the same ability to earn the advantage so many fought hard to obtain. I've been taken out by thorn, lag switchers, ghorns, and clan fireteams of 6 in IB and crucible and there is only one certainty here when it comes to this kind of a post. If you don't like it. Don't play. Posting a thread of name calling against players who earned something is immature, childish, and if you are a seasoned PVP player who plays more than COD then you'd know that you can do better than posting hate threads, and better by taking out thorn users in-game with strategy instead of attacking them verbally on forums. It's testament to the character of who you are to be better than this, and you should raise the bar of standards for yourself than to have it so low you can basically roll over it. Hope you change your attitude. It's not becoming of a mature gamer.
