Me and my friend both got strange coins during the campaign and had no idea what they did for at least another week. Also I thought legendary was better than exotic for a while

Back in my day we farmed for EVERYTHING! The grind was real and it took forever to hit level 30. We earned our 30s with real raiding in a real raid called the Vault of Glass. Guardians would argue and de-friend each other over the Gorgon maze in that raid...it was beautiful.

First week of nightfall someone posted that they got suros regime from it, so I thought hmm if I go do it, it will give suros regime... Regardless to say I got a legendary weapon, even though they were good up until a couple of months of it.

Continually getting owned by the hollowed Knights in the basement in the beta and in the game because I thought I could kill them eventually.

I remember week 2 thinking " eh, who would waste these valuable coins on an exotic rocket launcher. It's a waste of an exotic slot, and it takes sooo long to get strange coins, I'll wait for that awesomeness that is red death again." Yeah I was such a noob.
