Best way to get Black Hammer
I only need 1 more weapon from crota's end raid, and that is the black hammer sniper rifle. I am not sure if I have a better chance to get it from hard mode or normal mode. I feel like there should be a better chance on normal, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have some input?

Ahh I remember this weapon like it was yesterday until they shit all over my heart and replaced the archetype with an exotic..

1 ReplyThe only way of getting it is to beat xylar, the timeless on insane difficulty while only using a pink khvostov. You must also have 2 zebras, osama bin laden and my mother on your fireteam for it to drop.

2 RepliesJust keep doing strikes. I got two from the Devil's Lair strike and one from the Winter's Run strike. Or VOG on Hard at the Templar. I've seen one person get it during Iron Banner so Crucible is possible as a place to get it. Most people say Crota Normal, but trust me, that's a dead end!!!

2 RepliesLooks like you will want two because rumor has it dismantling it gives you a special rune, which I'm guessing will be used for a quest later. So unless you don't care to keep it down the road, hunt for two!

You ONLY get special weapons and heavies from normal mode hard mode ONLY gives you primaries

Hard mode. CE People say it's random. But maybe try having all your crota stuff on your character when you do the raid see what happens
