I only add players that I enjoy their company then if they happen to be good as well then that's a plus but for me I will only add people that I get a long with. I'll never add someone just because of their sex, that's straight creep status in my opinion. I would rather fail over and over with people that are all having fun than beat whatever the goal is in a quick manner with pretentious know it all ding ding weirdos. I don't care that you're level 32 and have every exotic if your a dick haha but yeah that's just me and probably why I haven't beaten the crota raid yet.

4 RepliesWomen usually bring a calming presence so they are always welcomed in my parties.

Edited by Cleric2k7: 2/6/2015 9:32:15 PMAt this point in time the only woman I've ever knowingly played Destiny with is my Wife so I'm not a terribly good example, but on the topic of skill level due to gender, my wife is quite good when you consider that her previous FPS experience is almost non-existent. She has made it up to Crota on Hard Mode as a 31 and we didn't have to carry her in the slightest. Granted, she's the first one to claim she's a total noob but then her sense of humor has always been on the side of self-deprecation. I personally have no bias on skill by gender and don't think that your sex has any impact on your ability to play a videogame.

Edited by Hyionimaru: 2/6/2015 9:31:39 PMI am so forward thinking and ahead of the curve I had my eyes and ears modified so I would never be able to recognize anyone's voice or appearance as male or female.
-
If their cool and are decent at the game I'll add a person regardless of gender, I know a lot of guys want to add girls to drool over them or something
-
I couldn't give a toss if you're a guy, girl, cat, dog or a cactus. If you're a decent player and we have a laugh I'll send you a friend request. Maybe not the cacti though. Pricks.

1 ReplyGirl gamers? ... That's just an urban legend they don't exist. Na, I don't run into many girl gamers. But I have added two while playing destiny. 1st cuz she was good & it was pleasant listening to her voice instead of all the guys. The 2nd cuz she is attractive & plays destiny & I'm single & it's almost impossible to find a girlfriend in real life that plays video games
-
I add an1 who can help me do the raid. And I add females cause they tend to attract more help than guys if I stick to doing a raid with a female i get it done faster
-
If I meet a player who can keep up with me I usually add him. Doesnt matter one bit if its A female, dog, octobus whatever. Only little teenagers care about stuff like that.
-
Male or female if you are good I'll send u friend request
-
Are you kidding me? I have a trans on my list, and she's awesome at this game. I don't care who you are. If you wreck, you wreck.
-
I don't own a mic. Don't plan to either since I have a few friends who play and we get by fairly well on the raids. If I'm not on skype with them, I have music playing, and the volume turned low. So, the only way for me to meet players is through whatever type of interaction arises from doing strike playlists and running into people in the tower/on patrol missions. At that point, even if the name(for example) XxXGurlGamerXxX, I assume it's 1 of 3 things. A dude, an old dude, or jailbait. So, making assumptions by names. Yes, it's stupid I know. But you know someone is funny if they have a name of "Shotgun_Facials."

4 RepliesI like to add girls because gamer girls are usually HILARIOUS, once they get comfortable talking with you and open up. I like to laugh and joke while playing destiny instead of being the type that yells "SCRUB!" Anytime someone messes up. Like it's just a game just chill. If anyone wants to add me my GT is same as user
-
I don't add people unless they are either 1) Fun to play with, 2) have enough skill to not die every 10 seconds, I find that most girls are very quiet so I normally don't add them.
-
Every time I have played with a female...she has added me bkus I am a team player, I know what I'm doing, and I'm not trying to smash her bkus she's a female....thirsty ass dudes....sit yo ass down...
-
2 RepliesI find women to be much less obnoxious than men while gaming. Although I don't run across many girl gamers, I wish I could have more on my friends list. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't game.
-
I add anyone i start to play with right away, the more people playing destiny on my friends list the better.
-
If you're boy or girl idc as long as you can hold your own I won't care unless you're annoying.
-
This doesn't belong here.
-
2 RepliesGirls suck at video games.. I would never raid with a female.. Idc if you're a girl and you have completed it. I have only ever met one good girl gamer and that was on gears of War... Other than that it's 1 and a million
-
Me:* walks behind each team member and punches them in the hip will saying good game* Friend: dude!! What if one of them is a woman and gets offended? As a mic clicks on. Female voice: i am a woman... Me: huh... You all look like gaurdians to me. *punches everyone in the hip again* alright. Lets kill crota. Friends ever since.
-
1 ReplyBelieve it or not, I've never had the chance to play alongside a girl on Destiny, unless they are one of the many without a mic so I wouldn't know.. That's by the by, ive played with some on other games, but generally I don't find much of a difference, you get the same crosshatch of players, good, bad, funny, nasty. If a girl ever appeared in my lobby I swear to god I'd
say hi and play the game like i always do
-
I usually add most people I raid with, since more friends more people to raid with... Of course this has stopped since I maxed my friends list
-
1 ReplyI don't add females just to add females. It's true, when I hop into a Fireteam and hear a Female voice, I am pleasantly surprised, but I don't immediately add her. I wait to see how she plays and if she's the type of person I wouldn't mind playing with again based on personality. If she's cool and can handle herself, request sent. ...Same with guys too, actually
-
5 RepliesDon't care. We're all here because we like to game. It creeps me out when guys instantly start hitting on any girl they hear. Not only is it lame as hell, but there's almost no chance of ever even meeting that person in real life if you did hit it off, so why be a creeper?
-
I add her for that potential bj..that xbox sex talk. for me it does matter if potentially you can get pregnant, for destiny might bore me...but she might bare for me. Jk? Yeah sure.
