Admission: I am currently terrible at PvP.
Statement of Awareness: I know some that like PvP have a dislike of "fist of panic" kills.
Situational Question: Is this actually an okay use of said kill? At the very start of a control mission I stumbled into an entire 6 man team capturing "A." Realizing my immediate death I slammed the ground killing 5, as the last of the company destroyed me.
Result I: Best I've done in PvP match. (Like I said, I'm bad at PvP).
Result II: The rest of the match I was given payback from the entire other team. I would spawn, take about five steps and ambush death followed.
Comment: For the purest PvP players.... when is a "fist of panic" OK?
Thanks.

When ever you want. People just hate u using it just on them but in reality its good for there team as you wasted you super on one person. It's almost like they would rather you wait until 5 of them are capping b flag and u come along and kill them. People are stupid :( Tldr: people are dumb and fist of panic is a figment of there imagination. Use your FoH when ever you dam well want to

Edited by Kind of Ben: 2/3/2015 9:59:21 PMFist of Havoc and Nova Bomb get dissed for frequently being used to kill a single enemy, when they are clearly capable of much more. People hate this because they are angry at being instantly oneshotted, and call the guy an idiot for not saving it for when he could have gotten several kills instead of randomly bringing their fun to an abrupt stop. This happens because the opportunities to use these supers effectively are few and far between, so those using them in "panic" mode do so because they don't care about saving it and just don't feel like dying in that instant. Wiping a six man team with Fist of Havoc is not panic supering. It is awesome, and I sure hope you yelled "Xbox, record that!!" while jumping up and down while fist pumping furiously.

It's always okay to kill the other team, and if they single you out after it gives your team a chance to snipe them
-
Literally all the time. Anyone that says otherwise is wrong.
-
whenever the -blam!- you want don't listen to anyone
-
nooovvvvvuh ragggggeeeeeee
-
It's always okay. It's a super, and each class has one. Who cares if some Titan gets one kill for using his super on you?
-
If someone else is taking a point, defending their point, or camping in a bubble.

Edited by Peeks___: 2/3/2015 9:52:17 PMUsually when I get mine I know that I'm going to use it in the next close quarter encounter I get in to. That, and your radar lights up when people are close to you. It's not a panic move if it's premeditated
-
If I'm being an asshole and making fun of this community: No. It is never okay to use your super. You are a scrub. Nice panic super git gud fgt. If I'm answering you from my pov: dude who cares? The term "panic super" is -blam!-ing stupid. Who cares what anybody does with their super? Kill one person? Cool. Kill the whole team? Cool. Kill nobody? Better luck next time.

2 RepliesThe fist definitely helped me here !
-
1 ReplyI find fists of panic fantastically manly and brutish (I'm a warlock main). I say use it the instant you get it in order to incite immediate facial and body hair growth.
-
At the very start???? How fast does your super come up? I have to wait a while before I get mine. Even on full Intellect.
I suspect foul play
-
IMO 2 situations make it acceptable. Either when using it vs 2+ enemies when it is a guaranteed double kill or to counter another players super. I think that for all supers except radiance, which should be used every time it is available.
-
My favourite time for a fist of panic is when I want my weapons of light bubble *facepalm*
-
3 RepliesLOL. My favorite when playing my Titan is to run into a room full of enemies ready to crush the everliving souls from them only to realize I switched my class to Defender.... PANIC BUBBLE. Good for nothing really.
-
If you find 6 people together damn if you can kill them all then your a true titan but 90% of the time you don't wait why the -blam!- am I here dumbass community doesn't understand shit

Fist of Panic is okay anytime it kills someone. It's even better if it kills multiple someones. Against single targets, if they get the drop on you, it's alright, fist of panic remember? Blade dancers in their super are always okay to use it on, as are self-rezzed warlocks or golden gun hunters. Bubble Titans if they are capturing zone B. In game modes other than control single target fists are generally the norm.
-
Whenever you want to use. Like Nuclearsunburn said - blade dancers, self rezzed locks, and golden gunners are alwasy ok receive the "fist of panic". End of the day a kill is a kill

Every super is supposed to be op, just like exotic weapons. Also like exotic weapons, some need a buff (like Ward of Dawn). Unlike exotic weapons, none of them need a nerf. They just all have their uses. FoH, Arc Blade, and Nova Bomb is good for hordes of weaker enemies or other guardians. Golden Gun is good for boss-killing or a one-shot in the Crucible. WoD and Radiance are useful for team play in Control, Clash, Skirmish, Salvage, Combined Arms, Raids, Strikes, and Doubles Skirmish.
-
A kill is a kill, period. People get so butt hurt over PvP that they belittle anything that kills them. Basically, unless you let them kill you everytime, you are doing something "wrong".
-
4 RepliesKeeping a kill spree going, protecting a control point, and 1v1 with another player who has a super (Blade Dancer/Gunslinger). Those would be my three moments where I would use it on a single player.
-
Always. Go in a wreck people with that thing. Why not use it. Just like hunters have that dumb blade dancer and run around hitting you. Hi cares if people don't like it. It's always a good time to use it
-
When you want that player dead
-
If you kill more than 1 it was a good choice lol

When you're on my team: all the time. When you're on their team: never
