Admission: I am currently terrible at PvP.
Statement of Awareness: I know some that like PvP have a dislike of "fist of panic" kills.
Situational Question: Is this actually an okay use of said kill? At the very start of a control mission I stumbled into an entire 6 man team capturing "A." Realizing my immediate death I slammed the ground killing 5, as the last of the company destroyed me.
Result I: Best I've done in PvP match. (Like I said, I'm bad at PvP).
Result II: The rest of the match I was given payback from the entire other team. I would spawn, take about five steps and ambush death followed.
Comment: For the purest PvP players.... when is a "fist of panic" OK?
Thanks.

I fist of panic sometimes when I get out numbered in a gunfight. But generally I don't use my super on one person.

Edited by Ne0nK0ala: 2/4/2015 4:56:46 AMNever, killing one guy with a super is never acceptable, I would never pull out my gunslinger for one enemy, save it for when the heavy ammo spawns, kill everyone just after they pick up the ammo, best rewards because you piss people off and get all the ammo. A long tea bagging session should ensue shortly after.

Any time it gets a kill. Sure, it could have been used to greater effect, but a kill is a kill, no matter how it's gotten.
-
I save mine for those pesky blade dancers =)>
-
It's okay all the time. It's a super that was created for a class that I use and I will use it because the other supers are equally if not more OP
-
WHENEVER. When Warlock's have Fusion Grenades, their melee crap, AND self-revive, which beats any other super, and Hunters have Bladedancer button-mash crap, it's fine. Might want to save it, though.
-
Its ok whenever the -blam!- you feel like its ok! I saw a warlock waste a super on one day at point blank range, when me and four other people were just behind him. Now that is stupidity at its finest!
-
At the end of the match when you have unspent super, you lost, and youre in a group of your team mates, so that you may emphasize your utter disappointment in them
-
Whenever you want to drop the hammer... ... Do It! It's your super, use when you feel appropriate. My .02

I saw save your Super for taking down a group of enemies. Using it on one person is a waste in my opinion.
-
2 Repliesas long as you're not fisting to win a gunfight that you've already lost, its ok
-
2 RepliesI refer to it as fist of panic when they use it to just kill me/one guy. My favorite one was when he was behind me and I had no clue, but used it instead of shooting me. If you see three people grouped together, REK DEM

Don't ever use it unless you see at least 3 noobs standing together. I can't explain the joy you fell when after 5 matches you are finally allowed to use FOH on these willing victims waiting for you to destroy them. Now serious, if you can't find a group to use it on, just use it on 1 person capping, or on heavy ammo spawn or even when you're about to die. Don't listen to haters or elitists.
-
FOH is more of a counter. Will beat any super. Don't expect to see more than 3 people at once. Its rare.
-
use it always. Fvck the haters
-
9 RepliesFoH is awesome...I think it's a cool super, and I understand why I die from it...I just wish the Titan wasn't invincible when it uses it. It's insane.
-
Use it whenever you want
-
When you see a guardian and he/she is trying to kill you, then you can use it.
-
its acceptable when you hit several enemy guardians at once... its waisted on a single opponent
-
When you can get a kill
-
its always ok
-
Never use it when you know there is only one person, because when you see an oblivious group, you'll wish you had it. Often I go an entire control match without ever using it because a proper situation never arises, I don't need it to get a kill so I'm fine.
-
When you kill more than just one guy with it.
-
5 RepliesDon't use it on one person. If there's two or more fine, but wasting a super on a 1v1 scenario is scrub territory
-
Edited by DKKWraith: 2/3/2015 11:36:33 PMWhen playing as a Titan, I use it everytime it is ready and a target appears. If I get a multikill, fine. I use supers in my hunter far less, since golden gun just gets me killed faster than normal, and arc blade just gets me shotgunned or shoulder smashed.
-
People that tell you not to use it will happily use the warlock or hunter super in you. Vicious double standard. Use it when it seems right. They can suck it up. We all get killed by "cheap" supers.
