Admission: I am currently terrible at PvP.
Statement of Awareness: I know some that like PvP have a dislike of "fist of panic" kills.
Situational Question: Is this actually an okay use of said kill? At the very start of a control mission I stumbled into an entire 6 man team capturing "A." Realizing my immediate death I slammed the ground killing 5, as the last of the company destroyed me.
Result I: Best I've done in PvP match. (Like I said, I'm bad at PvP).
Result II: The rest of the match I was given payback from the entire other team. I would spawn, take about five steps and ambush death followed.
Comment: For the purest PvP players.... when is a "fist of panic" OK?
Thanks.

Anytime. Anytime is ok for any tactic available to any player. It's kill or be killed. Don't listen to the uber nerds and bitches. It's a video game. Play however you want. Everyone else does no matter what bullshit they say.

Edited by CaNT: 2/5/2015 3:05:15 AMDon't be that Titan that only uses his super on one guy to survive. Every super has a time and place and if you use your super on one guy and everyone else comes. You just missed out on more super kills. People think just because super is up, you gotta use it now. Save Fist of Havoc for the right time. Use it to help your team also, like if you see a bubble Titan. FoH him, and get him out of the way. If you see a Bladedancer, FoH him. If a warlock is on his Radiance, I guess you could, but you don't need to. Gunslingers, you don't need to. You can just Shoulder Charge or Shotgun him to death.

When my girlfriend least expects it
-
Dont ever use it after missing a shoulder charge because that is just sad...... Not every time you see red on your radar and use it to get a kill without turning the corner.... You might as well used a shotgun
-
Fist of panic is getting a cheap kill but if a group of retards are camped together then it's considered a perfect kill.

Edited by Pliskade: 2/4/2015 4:20:55 PMWhen ever it is needed. Panic FoH? Okay. About to die and have super up? Okay 4 enemies trying to cap point B and you have super? Not only okay, but should be your go to move... Blade Dancer with super active coming at you and your team mates? Better use it. The only time it isn't okay to use a super is if you waste it? Or miss. Or jump a cliff and die because you use it. Anyone who plays PVP and says otherwise is hoping you will not use yours so they can not have to worry about it.

1 ReplyEdited by Tiingy: 2/4/2015 8:22:44 AMHow did you get your super "at the very start of a control mission"
-
Personally I just don't like supers in crucible. I get frustrated with FoH because there's no time to react unlike the other supers where superior movement skills will save your life. Really I would say just don't do it to one guy, other situations are permissible. While I may still feel that if you get outplayed and end up in a situation where you are against two or more enemies that you should lie in the grave that you have made yourself, you have a super that can get you out of it and it's unreasonable to tell you to let your own spree die in the name of etiquette. If you want the most "honorable" situations to use FoH in, in my opinion, I would say using Death from Above and/or Shockwave to either take out a capture point from a far away starting distance or clear a hall way, respectively.

Whenever a Titan feels like using one
-
I'd say use it when your opponent has a major advantage, like a super or heavy ammo. Killing them while they have either prevents them from putting it to good use.
-
ITS NEVER OKAY BECAUSE IT INVOLVES PLAYING THE WORST GAME EVER MADE
-
Wait for the battle for B to commence, find a high spot to perch up on and watch them gather on it, then super man your way into killing everyone. That or just use it on the first noob you see coming around the corner. Either way works.
-
If you know that there is 2 people and you time it properly (like on a flag) If you ever only kill 1 person you are really bad.
-
As soon as you see the first person, even when he's alone and you think there's a 50/50 chance you can take him out. That's the best time to use it and make sure to T-bag that person afterwards to piss him/she off. Lol

2 RepliesWhen there is at least two people or else you look like a scrub wasting a super on one guy

Edited by Poeghostz: 2/4/2015 1:31:45 PMFist of panic is perfectly legit. Hanging on to it isn't that great anyway, cause finding that group of idiots huddling together might not ever happen. Titans and warlocks don't have the luxury of multiple attacks and searching for a second or third post super use.
-
Whenever the hell you want. Use it for 3 kills, use it for 1 kill, use it for no other reason than you look like a boss doing it.
-
When she says it is OK. Also, clip your fingernails.
-
Anytime you want. Just like any other super

If you play control id say save it till u start loosing flag lots of ppl tend to gather Around flags
-
Fist of havoc is ok whenever it's available I mean you not using it as a last resort for a kill won't stop the nova bombs golden guns and arc blades from using their supers for something similar
-
Any time there are 2 or more players to kill or, where youre protecting a streak, objective or heavy ammo is fine. Fist of Panic is where you run round a corner, see one guy (possibly facing the other way) and you mash your super.
-
PvP. Player vs player. If you killed other players, no matter how - you're doing it right. :)
