How likely is it to get an exotic engram drop?
If you dont know what they are then I will tell you. Engram drops are items that drop from enemies when you kill them. There are five different types of engrams; Common, uncommon, rare, legendary and exotic. Also I don't know if they are real.

Exotic engrams do not drop in the game. They are only available from Xur.

1 ReplyI have only seen one video and when he picked it up it said the dude's name and then said "Found Engram Exceptional". It was an exotic heavy weapon Engram. Then when he turned it in to the cryptarc it turned into a green Engram and was a green rocket launcher. There was one also where they were doing the Valus ta arc ( I don't know how to spell obviously but it is the cabal strike) and the guy was dead when the boss died and there was an exotic that he dropped. I think it was fake cuz he didn't get to pick it up. But other than that I think exotics don't drop. If they do they its probably like a 0.1 chance cuz I NEVER GOT ONE AND I HAVE LIKE 1,400 HOURS IN DESTINY!!! Like cmon I have never seen one in game. They don't even drop in nightfalls.
