Imagine a world with no 9/11, no 7/7, no crusades, no public beheadings blamed on beliefs, no suicide bombers, and no witch hunts.
Now imagine a world where there is a cure for diseases thought to be incurable, where human lifespan increased due to advancements in medicine, where there is less war, where humanity is colonizing the cosmos.
Is this the world we were meant to have?
Edit: I have noticed that there are quite a few people that are saying you need religion to have morals. That is not true, empathy is a human emotion that is hardwires in our DNA. Morals have been with us before the invention of religion.

3 RepliesAll matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such things as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

1 ReplyReligions are like training wheels for a bicycle; Without it, the bicycle would never start moving. If it lingers too long, the movement of the bicycle becomes hindered. We needed it then, but not now. We're a sophisticated enough society to do without it. Unless they're right, and all smartwads burn eternally.

We use to need religion, now it's dangerous to society.

Look I'm not gonna force my belief on anyone. But looking at it historically. Your looking at all the bad that religion has brought. What about the good? Like a moral code. For example.many laws we have today came from religion. Like -blam!- and murder are against the law because of religion. Religion has brought society back in some ways but it also pushed society to be more civilized

I see two different worlds here. Neither of which you think you are describing. One is a Utopian society built on morals and unified religious principals. The other is like ours but with... Slightly less war?

5 RepliesNo religion... Well that would mean no universities and possibly a less uneducated population. We might not even exist considering religion gave hope for past civilizations to continue.
