I was on swordbearer duty.

The Weapons of Sorrow were believed to be nothing more than a myth. But even the darkest myths are born of some truths, and whispers of the Necrochasm have long filled the Light with dread.
It is said the Necrochasm was born in the twilight after Crota’s sword first cracked the Moon. That a lost Guardian’s weapon was altered by the Hive in an attempt to fuse their own dark understanding with humanity’s mastery of war. The result was a weapon that would feed on its owner’s aggression—reaching further when angry eyes drew focus, its hunger rising as it tore through bone and flesh.
Any Guardian who comes across the weapon must ask some very simple questions with endlessly complicated answers: Is your Light bright enough to stand, even briefly, in full gaze of the Hive's abyss? Can it handle what has died and been reborn in those shadows?

I have it. Got in the run last week. Probably my 12th run. Was excited until i started to try it out. Takes a whole clip to down a vandal in the steppes. Absolutely useless. I would rather use no land beyond as an exotic primary and we all know how bad that exotic is. Happy i got the card but will never use it unless it is seriously buffed

13 RepliesI really couldn't care about the gun, but am interested in the Grimiore card for completion purposes. I haven't gotten it yet. I do have a few questions for those who have, simply because my boyfriend has been on a mission to get it and we've heard all sorts of claims/suggestions to help the RNG favor him. 1. Did you do Hardmode only (no Normal run prior)? 2. Did you have the Glowhoo shader / If so... was it equipped or in inventory? 3. Did you have the Husk of the Pit or Eidolon Ally in your inventory?

I've completed crotas end on hard 3+ times a week since it released. Still no crux, not that I actually really want it for other than collection purposes. Still though it stings a little bit every time I carry a group through only to see the guy who died by a knight in the crystal room get it.. even though I'm glad to help others get some rewards out of destiny.

Got it last night on my second completion I was the only one on the team and I'd died before enrage kicked in. Done by thrall thought the window lol the two other guys who wanted it were both alive and pissed at me lol. Then did atheon straight after and got my second p&t and the epilogue. All in all a great night.

Why I got it straight away? the gun us crap it sucks & needs a major buff IMO It's ok to use at the lamps but otherwise only for the collection!

I got mine on week three. Crux dropped along with Red Death. Most exciting disappointment ever.

Swordbearer. Don't have it yet, but got Crux and I never really touched Eidolon.
