why isn't xur selling heavy ammo?
Why is xur not selling heavy? That's two ( maybe 3 not sure) weeks in a row that he hasn't sold it ; right now with crota hard having just been released it would have been the first time in the game where heavy was actually needed ; not just preferred or wanted but actually needed ........ I'm hoping for a reply as to the reason why xur isn't selling it ...
Also why had he sold starfire protocol three weeks in a row?

1 ReplyEdited by Dic3man: 2/2/2015 2:53:57 PMYeah it sucks and what also sucks is that you cannot discard consumables, so I now have to use a bunch of telemetrys and use jackolytes just to get space for when he finally sells heavy ammo. Who came up with the stupid idea that you CANNOT discard consumables? And if you are full in the consumables area the heavy synths doesnt work which is great when you have one slot free and then you receive a couple of wax idols on crota. Sorry guys you have to wait 10 minutes until my black wax idols wear of so I can use a heavy synth again (well you can go to the tower but that takes time aswell which shouldnt be necessary).

Maybe last time he sold them you should have bought enough to last 3+ weeks.

My perspective: People are complaining about the Glimmer Cap, Vault Space & Heavy Weapons trivializing encounters. Xur not stocking Heavy Ammo partially solves all 3 of these problems, albeit in an underhanded way. Xur selling Heavy Ammo definitely raises the "Fun Factor" since using Heavy Weapons to decimate everything is fun, however, has the added side effect of making parts of the game "too easy". That's about as Objective as I can make it - it's logical, but still sucks not having lots of Heavy Ammo at all times. ;-)

Edited by R00KIE GUY: 2/10/2015 4:36:19 AMYou should also add this to your post so if Bungie sees this they are more inclined to do it: With the heavy ammo glitch, there is a greater need for heavy ammo. To alleviate and to basically solve this problem, Bungie should make Xúr have a permanent sell of heavy ammo until the the problem is resolved.

To troll hard mode crota's. Thats why. Simple answer, but it is true. Also we pay the penalty for having the icebreaker at xur 2 weeks ago, by having no heavy ammo and dragonsbreath and no land beyond in his inventory.

Hey guys I just found out from very high people at Bungie that Xur is not responsible for the lack of heavy ammo synthesis. He has placed orders for them but because of the ammo rush back ordered. I have been told that because Xur stock is backordered the Gunsmith is now selling heavy ammo bricks at a inflated prices. Story is he's raking in the glimmer. More on this story at 9, back to you Jim.

Unfortunately I believe this is weekend 2. Xur sells synth every 3 weekends.
