How many exotics have you got from RNG?
I've put in close to 150 hours and have never come across an exotic from RNG...
Edit 1: Also, how many exotic bounties have you got??
Edit 2: So after looking at a few dozen profiles, it seems that things are VERY random! Some people have played maybe only about 200 hours and have 6-12 exotic loots, others have played nearly 500 hours and only have a few...
Edit 3: After reading these posts, I see now it's not highly improbable that I have no exotic loots to show after 150 hrs---unfortunate but permitted on the RNG system.

Ive gotten nearly all my exotics from rng. 1 or 2 were from xur. All i need now is truth and 4th horseman. And ive gotten pretty close to over 15 exotic bounties(2 this week i think) but i just break them since i already have all the weapons from bounties

No RNG did however get 5 exotic bounties and finished 2 (super good advice, invective) so far on last step for pocket infinity also. Thorn is hard for me as I suck at PvP and need to wait till next Friday for next bad juju step. Overall bounties and Xur are the only way I can get any exotics it seems.

Got Hawkmoon as a Crucible reward. And I've gotten two exotic bounties.

I got my first (and second just a few time later) RNG Exotic two weeks ago: Hard Light from a Nightfall and The Last Word from Atheon's Drop. The last week got the Vex Mythoclast from Atheon and the Last Word again from the Exotic Chest in the Gorgon's Maze. Speaking of Exotic Bounties: got the first one just a week after playing Destiny (chose Thorn Bounty at the time).

Exotic rewards from weekly, nightfall and raids even rare crucible, ive gotten a total of 9. I bought 3. Plus i have a lot more hours so i guess it makes sense

I have every exotic in the except 4 I would say about 6 came from rng guess I'm just lucky but only with weapons gear is another story only 1 full raid set

1 ReplyThe bounties seem to drop more frequently if you turn in a bunch at once. It's a 2% chance when you turn one in. 2% turns into 20% if you turn in 10 at a time. It's the law of large numbers. I've gotten Bad Juju, Thorn and Invective this way. Working on Pocket Infinity.

3 exotic bounties 1 from finishing a nightfall 2 from VoG loot chests - icebreaker was one I got from a loot chest AFTER Xur sold it lol

5, my friend has over 100 more hours but only has gotten 2 from rng, both of which earlier this week (lucky douche got the Thunderlord and Jellyhorn so he cant complain).
