How many exotics have you got from RNG?
I've put in close to 150 hours and have never come across an exotic from RNG...
Edit 1: Also, how many exotic bounties have you got??
Edit 2: So after looking at a few dozen profiles, it seems that things are VERY random! Some people have played maybe only about 200 hours and have 6-12 exotic loots, others have played nearly 500 hours and only have a few...
Edit 3: After reading these posts, I see now it's not highly improbable that I have no exotic loots to show after 150 hrs---unfortunate but permitted on the RNG system.

I'm at 180 hrs but around 130 I already got: Upgraded Suros Thunder lord No land beyond Plan c Universal remote The last word From rng The rest I got from XUR,raid, or bounties I have all but the ghalli :(

2 RepliesI've gotten 3 or 4. Got the multi tool from hard raid by waiting around until the game takes you to the scoreboard after competing the hard raid. Yes that rumor us true if you wait. Another guy got the plan c as well. First time I've seen it happen though.

I've got: mida multi tool, red death, plan c, vex, hawkmoon, suros, all exotic bounties, patience and time, truth, thunder lord, last word, 4th horseman, and save the best for last, icebreaker, and GHorn (bought none from xur)

I have gotten three exotic bounties for thorn bad juju and super good advice I also got sun breakers GHorn and truth from the nightfall and a light beyond nemesis from an exotic engram from xür if that counts

3 RepliesI have played over 600 hours I'm missing but a handful of weaponry. Seeing as I don't bother with other classes I am missing many armor exotics. Trust me as a soon to be 32 you won't find an exotic until you are normally a 26 at least. Even then it won't be the second you get to 26. Work for strange coins, do the VoG and CE, grind out hours of factions and work. Destiny isn't a rewarding system. In fact the RNG is quite a bitch. But it'll happen. In fact just today my friend found two legendaries within 10 seconds of each other then got the rarest exotic in the entire game.

1 ReplyI don't think it's as easy as just "very random". Some people get exotics left and right, some people get none for just the same amount of playtime. Some people have a surplus in shards, some have a surplus in energies, even when you put in the factors of upgrading gear. There has to be some kind of order, like every 4th player that joins destiny has the potential to get lots of exotic drops, and same for either shards or energies.

1 ReplyI've gotten so many exotic bounties that I've abandoned as many as I've done...and I've gotten several exotics out of legendary drops and out of nightfalls...I've had good luck and some bad luck...its all random

2 Replies300ish hours.. I think I have 12 or so exotic.. Have only bought 1 suros and 3 icebreakers.. But have got 2 ice breakers from RNG engram's have gotten last word ghallahorn plan c and the horrible primary sniper as straight RNG loots rest been engrams

10 so far, Suros regime, Vex, Gjallahorn, ice breaker and 6 thunderlords. oh and that Ice breaker dropped 2 days after i bought one from Xur.

All I need gjallahorn. Only one that eludes me. Except for hawk moon and Monte Carlo and 4th horseman, won't be seeing those 3 for awhile.

Ive had 1 EW drop from crucible and 1 EW drop from legendary engram, 2 EA drops from engrams. 4 exotic bounties.

3 Replies650+ hours of gameplay and the only exotic's I don't have are Gjallahorn, Red Death and Universal Remote. I have received and done all the exotic bounties. Does that help?
