This is the worst community I've ever seen.
I've played a lot of MMO's, and this game has by far the most immature community I've ever seen. I guess it should be expected when you combine all the Halo & CoD kids into one forum, but my god. 9/10 threads here make my brain bleed.
There is pretty much zero useful information you will find on these forums. That's got to be an all time low for the MMO world.
And it's not like it's going to get any better.

I wouldn't call Destiny a full fledged MMO, its more like a Diet MMO. Its a jack of all trades, master of none i guess...

I have seen worse. Any compilation of this many people is going to include some idiots. The people who would otherwise compose thoughtful posts don't have all day to sit on forums. On these boards, you probably see the worst side of this community. But almost everyone I've ever matched up with in game has been mature.

7 RepliesThe "Halo Kids" are here because Bungie developed Halo and b.net was used for that back in the day. Saying that they're kids is probably a stupid remark considering that Halo was introduced a little over 13 years ago and the majority of the followers of the Bungie series were of the late teen/early 20's age group when it was at the height of its popularity. Chances are that group is in their late 20's/early 30's now. This thread isn't helping make the current forums a better place. Instead of being a part of the problem, it might be a better idea to be a part of the solution. Ignore the biased posts and create threads that help the community. And Destiny is not an MMO, so I don't even know why that's being mentioned.
