YOU ARE NOT A REAL PLAYER IF YOU BOUGHT YOUR LEVEL!
Before Crota came out it was fun to play with level 30's doing vog on hard and such. Now people aren't doing raids but buying their level.
Who believes that the max buying legendary armor should be [b]29[/b] because level 30 is just too high.
Deej look at this suggestion and think about it. Talk to other staff members about it. This will make more people grind which means more people playing the game.

you're not a real player if you go into Crota's End with a 29 or 30. ffs, the vendor gear is there for a reason. use it to get to 31 until you've got your Crota gear leveled. there is no excuse. i don't care where you got your armor and level, what i care about is your level of experience (and honesty) and your weapons setup. if you're not ready, be honest with yourself and your fireteam and let them offer advice on how to be the most useful you can possibly be.

I was lv 29 working my ass off for the final piece of raid gear b4 the dark below.i just brought boots I needed for lv 30 2 weeks later lv 32 :)

1 ReplyThis whole game is flawed on gear!! -First I think they should actually have PVP gear/Weapons separate from PVE gear. This all in one gear is BS in my opinion. -Second whats the point of having gear to display Intellect/Discipline/or whatever... You are unable to mod this and all that matters in gear is Light level. Soooo....all that gear they advertised on launch doesn't mean anything. In the end...we all look exactly the same!!! There is so much more I want to rant about this game but it just goes in the void of complaints. Basically this game is a LAZY development. I mean...adding a different color or attaching a shell to something like a weapon or ship doesn't make it a new item. Fuk...if I see another ship item with a lego piece/cover added to it....ffffffuuuuuuuuuuu But..yea...i just need to take a break from this game until the new DLC. SMH

I don't think you understand the DLC. Once it comes out, the base for lower levels must be raised, so they have a chance. By the time HoW comes out there will most likely be 33 level gear, with raid being 34. Is this a problem? No, it gives everyone more chances to progress and overall, have fun. Get off your high horse, you whiny bitch.

And I will gladly use any method available to me and whatever way fits my style of play. For a long time I just wanted to stay at 25, because it is my favorite number. Why do people care what level someone else is and how they accomplished it? Just play the game.

Getting gear from the crota raid is soooooo easy that I feel duped for wasting my marks buying light level 33 gear from vanguard. I did like the eris mission to get gauntlets. They should have made more missions like the purple eris bounties to get to level 31 instead of selling it from the factions.

1 ReplyThey did make it harder to get by requiring commendations for two of the pieces. I just happened to get a helmet from my first vanguard level up and a chest piece from cryptarch level up (and an exotic from Xûr) with out buying any gear. Then I bought boots and I'm level 31 with level 30 gauntlets. It would take 3 weeks worth of vanguard marks to buy all the vendor gear. You can get all of the CE armor in one raid. Sounds like more than a fair deal to me.

"Hey players because you didn't jump in from the beginning so I am going to need you to run this raid for potentially months on end to get 4 armor pieces. Then I need you to run this raid for potentially more months on end to get 1 more level. Then after that I need you to repeat this process on the next raid. Also forgot to tell you that you can only run the raid once per week on each character so you better make three of the same characters to up your chances of moving on." Seriously that is what you are advocating, why would someone buy the next DLC if they cannot access content due to not being your defined "earning" scale? Your player base will plummet not swell due to the excessive grind. Leave it how it is and enjoy your 32 club until HoW comes out. So what if someone didn't run VoG 43738 times, doesn't make them any less deserving to have access to content they purchased.

Im ok with 31armor but to do crota you should have to do a hard mode vog

2 RepliesLvl 31 gear should've only been able to be purchased by lvl 30 characters. This would've ensured they already completed enough VoG runs or grinded Iron Banner to get lvl 30 gear. Plus it may have alleviated some of the complaints by players who were already at those level caps.

Nope and its easymode to lvl up unlike other games where your old best gear actually turns to trash. It is still ok here.

So if I have full raid gear from VOG and was "legit" 30 as you say, I shouldn't have been allowed to go up to 31 to make my. Rota endeavour a little easier? Oh I'm sorry, you are assuming I should cheese the raid, so I can level "legit".
