We play this game almost everyday spending 3-4 hours a day for the last 6 weeks until now. We ve been collecting strange coins and mote of lights throughout our hours of game play (although now it seems the mote of light is useless) Are these quitters saying we have no rights in buying this so called "best" sniper from xur while these quitters earn them by total random drop from some raids? Not only that We bought the game, bought the console and so we should be entitled to enjoy this game to the max. If we can get something exotic from drops, thats good but there is nothing wrong in earning this from other means than expecting random drops. I repeat, we have every damn right. For bungie, thanks for this. Son's very happy Edit: for those who quit, good! Good riddance

Trust me they aren't quitting! They're just after a bit of attention!! I bought 2 IBs yesterday and did a nightfall and an IB dropped! You gotta love Destiny especially since I've been playing since Alpha!!!

The same thing was said when Xur first sold Ice Breaker. Its said regardless of what gear Xur brings in, when will it end?! [spoiler]Where the heavy ammo synths at, I would like to buy 100 please and thank :p[/spoiler]

I'd give it a week before those who brought icebreaker switch back to whatever setup they had before. It's the same cycle every week when xur sells something.

Only reason is because they had a great gun but were surrounded by superior players who didn't have it. Now they are surrounded by superior players on a level playing field equipment-wise.

Yup xur's reason to be there is to sell exotics it's not cheap because the only way you can get tons of SC is the level 30 weekly herioc (sometimes nightfall, looking at you my first nightfall)

I like to think that I played the smart way and gathered resources, for a guaranteed reward.

4 RepliesAnyone who would quit a game because people bought a weapon using strange coins they earned by playing the game should probably just go and quit life. They are clearly useless and a waste of valuable resources like oxygen. I get a kick out of people who act like strange coins are just handed out for signing into the game and that you don't actually have to do stuff to get them. The sheer stupidity is mind boggling. I also like when people imply anyone who bought ice breaker is a noob who just got the game for Christmas. Funny since I got the game when it came out and have somewhere between 100-200 hours played. Guess I'm a noob!
