Changing Title... Do you feel game will be unbalanced if Xur sells Icebreaker or G'horn?
Word on the street is that Xur will be selling Icebreaker and/or G'horn. Hear me out. The icebreaker and G'horn are the only exotics in my mind that truly "feel" like and exotic. The mythoclast used to, people bitched, got nerfed, now it sucks. I feel this is the same road that the Icebreaker and G'horn are going down. If Xur sells these guns AGAIN, minded everyone had their chance before, then this will severely jeopardize the games balance b/c, without a doubt, 100% of the players who do not have these weapons, will buy them. Mark my words. If this is the case, then Bungie is telling me on thing for sure, that these weapons will be getting a nerf b/c if everyone in the game has them, the games balance will be gone. I do have the icebreaker and I love it, but do not have the g'horn. So I am not one of these gamers who is bitching, or moaning, or complaining about a weapon being to strong, just stating facts. I would love the G'horn, but I want it the real way, grinding, putting in my hours, etc rather than just buying it. What the point of playing anymore when two of the games best weapons will be sold and 100% of Destiny players WILL have them now? There is no point! I would love feedback, positive or negative.

Hmmm I don't know like, as a working/family man I've put in a fair few hours since buying the game and not really had much luck woth RNG. Because these things get sold it actually gives me a chance to attempt the raid (albeit only VoG normal so far). If you guys are going to sprint through the one thing I can do, strikes, and limit potential engram drops for me, then why can't I have a chance at getting the things you guys have? It allows me to actually play the game I bought. Some people don't have all the time in the world to grind grind grind.

3 RepliesI see you changed your tune and I knew you like all the rest wouldn't quit. Bottom line: All guns NEED TO BE ACCESSIBLE TOP ALL THE PLAYERS. No one is unique nor uniquely entitled to any of them. Trying to insist that you are or that not everyone should be able to get them in whatever fashion is just beyond childish. Everyone paid the same amount to be able to play. No one paid more for extra special rights to any gun or armor, except the PS EC deal, but that's a different story.

No. If anything it will be more balanced. I've had icebreaker since very early on and I'm glad everyone got their chance. I hope to see ghorn soon

The mythoclast was nerfed because of crucible. Primary weapons have the most potential to be nerfed.

1 ReplyTwo comments. First, and I'm sure you've heard this before, you can't earn something that is randomly awarded. That's like saying the guy at the casino who dropped one dollar into a slot machine and hit the jackpot didn't earn it like the guy who's been dropping dollars for 9 hours a day for the last ten years. Random is random. The exotics are awarded to players, not earned (no matter how much you grind). Purchasing the guns requires less luck, but is completely legit. Second, if you're concerned that bungie will need these weapons if everyone has them because then they'll know the weapons are OP, that suggests you think the weapons [i]do[/i] need to be nerfed as they break the game for whoever has them. There is no in between here. If they are game breaking when everyone has them, then they are game breaking for anyone who already has them and they need to be nerfed. For the record, I dont agree with you on this and think they are fine, albeit very powerful.

Unbalanced no, for the simple reason that those two weapons are very situational in PvP. Gjall requires heavy drop and then you only have so many shots. And even though you may get an extra kill due to the Wolf Pack, it's not going to be much of a difference maker unless the other team is all grouped up. IB is a strong Sniper, but LDR's have almost the same Impact rating. The only thing IB brings is explosion and ammo regen, and typically the special weapon ammo is easy to come by. As for PvE, the more the merrier! ~Mythoclast was boosted in the last patch.

One only has to visit crucible one time and observe Bungie's delicate ""balance", or rather lack there of. 3rd… When you're in a raid, let's say like fighting Crota, are you saying you would rather fewer players might be properly equipped to help the team succeed?
