what side on conflux at templar is the hardest?
Left or right? My buddy says right and I say he's full of shit.

Hardest part of the raid, still don't get shit, lol. Left is way harder. But possible to solo

I do right side solo for all 3 waves. Left is, without a doubt, harder.

Left is harder: enemies will come from the left stairs, middle stairs, and the ramp. On the right they only come from the cave and under the templar

Left I solo right all the time, more stuff spawns at left and they come from mid more often and teleport to the conflux, they never teleport on right and you only see about 2 minotaurs and very rarely something will come from mid

I don't know about the other sides, i've always taken left. But it does seem more difficult than alot of the other parts of the VoG. I always get attacked from the stairs, alcove to the right of the stairs and from the middle.

never done the left, I've always done the right. I can tell you people on the right rarely die (normally when the middle helps the left and lets a minotaur run right with out telling us) and people regularly die left. so I'd guess left is harder.

Right would be the easiest no doubt. I'd say left because of hobgoblins from the top and middle as well as lack of cover

On hard mode I can solo right with ease but I struggle with left, I'll manage it but not everytime and I'm normally on my last sacrifice by the time it finishes. Raiding with some noobs yesterday and I had to solo left about 10 different times because they kept dying, sometimes is complete it and other times I'd just get swarmed and expunged. I 3-4man normal with my brother and friends each week and I normally just tell them to take right and middle as I know I can do left, I normally help the middle guy as well on normal.

Every side is easy. It only takes 3 people for this part of the raid on hard.

Left can get hectic at times. A good scout rifle (badger CCL with explosive rounds) is good to pick em off by their spawn area over by the spirit bloom room and the truth when it's a little crowded.

And the guy in the middle also has to be supporting left. Left is far more difficult. Anybody who doesn't agree has never done the hard raid. Edit: This was when everybody was 30 and 29. It is much easier now with 31s and 32s. This strategy above was made for when the enemies posed an actual threat to your health. Im sure many of you can now solo the left, but it's incredible how much of a difference one level makes.

Right is way easier. I can hold it on my own on easy. And on hard I can hold it on my own if I use red death.

1 ReplyNeither is difficult. If you need 4 on the left side something isn't right. More spawns generally on left but the templar fires to the right more often allowing some to teleport up the right stairs easier cause you need to back up at times.
